Great atmosphere!!! They have done a great job using local materials to create an authentic Burkinabae vibe in a comfortably air conditioned restaurant. Good food. Their hamburger is enormous - four layers of beef! The couscous Gondwana is excellent - similar to a Moroccan tajine. Service is extremely friendly. We came back again and again. This is a great destination... More

A special place in the dusty Ouaga. Nicely decorated with local handicrafts and objects. The service is attentive and friendly. The tapas were good as a starter with their special drink. The meat was tasty but a little bit chewy. Nice music made the evening inte to remember.

I absolutely loved my evening hers. A Burkinabe friend took us here and we loved the setting with the art gallery and the relaxing seating. The food was delicious. I had fish with a saffron and citrus sauce that was so unusual and amazing. If I lived here it would be hard to stay away.

This restaurant is amazing in so many ways... the building is an unusual construction reminiscent of adobe homes in southwest USA. Tables are spread around the garden and the night we went there were two men playing smoothest music mix of jazz and African but low key, we Could still chat... artwork on display all around, all for sale. Food... More

Dinner here is definitely worth the experience. You're basically having dinner in an art gallery. Everything is for sale - without it being pushed upon you. Food & service were excellent. Would return!

Certainly for me one of the best restaurants in Ouagadougou and for sure the most beautiful. Good food in a special place, full of fantastic African handcraft (and you can buy it). You absolutely have to taste it, you won't regret this marvelous exotic gastronomy

Le Gondwana has consistently good food, an extensive menu, and great ambiance. The restaurant space is adorned with beautiful for-sale art that you can shop while you dine, although it's more expensive for what you can find in the market. Great for big groups, too.

This restaurant looks great : the decoration, different sculptural and painted items from different African cultures, as well as a garden tent and sand on the floor give the restaurant a wow effect when you walk in. On the Saturdays we were there, there were also musicians playing live, mellow music. It all adds up to a wonderful atmosphere, which... More

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants of all time. It's food may not be the greatest, but the layout and creativity of the place is worth a visit. The waters are friendly and I have never fallen sick after eating there (which is something to be said eating out in Burkina Faso).

Beautifully done restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and great food. Tables are not too close so you can have a private conversation. Also has an escape ladder which is a sensible addition in these times.
