We made a booking as the restaurant does not accept walk ins. We arrived at the entrance and read the sign stating we should wait to be seated. A few minutes later we were attended by a waiter who led us to our table. That was the last human encounter we had. I turned the side plate holding our cutlery... More

So many years later, I finally got take my partner to Bai Sheng to experience for himself all the greatness of what I experienced and fondly remembered of this once star of an Asian Kitchen - just to leave with my head hanging in embarrassment of the culinary insult we had submitted ourselves to! I should have been alerted to... More

Chinese restaurant within the Grand Palm hotel and open to non residents. Nice lay out , pleasant outside area to eat as an alternative to the main eating area, but the food was disappointing. Limited menu , especially for vegetarians, and generally a little bland with dishes looking and tasting the same - few spices and certainly bland compared to... More

I visited Bai Sheng as part of a business trip to Gabs. The food was exceptional and the service was prompt, with great recommendations. I had the dumplings for starter and beef in black bean sauce for main. Wow, very tasty. Although not cheap, the portions are generous. Very pretty location outside at the Grand Palm. I would visit again!

Wow haven't had this for many years in Malawi and it was fantastic. Really recommend this great Chinese restaurant in the peermont Grand hotel. Also try the sizzling prawns.

We went over for the location, it is nice setting we chose the outside seat however the lighting is just too dark. We tried quite a few dishes the best one probably is the chili chicken (辣子鸡) and steamed dumplings. But to be frank the chili chicken dish is very different from the "authentic version" whereby the chicken bites are... More

We love to visit that restaurant with a bunch of friends or sometimes just the two of us. See food is the best in Gabs and reasonably priced! Service is good, ambiance too. Highly recommended but keep in mind to book in advance to not be disappointed. Please, keep the standard!

The service was good, the food was tasty, the atmosphere friendly. An outstanding meal. from the Chinese tea to the final expresso it was excellent. However the crab which I had was very good indeed - fresh crunchy and delicious.
