I booked afternoon tea on the terrace in advance, but they had no record of my booking so we had to walk around the grounds for 20mins before a table became available. It was a bit frustrating but the lovely gardens and view down the gorge to the Vic Falls Bridge made up for it. The service was good, friendly,... More

Our time in lovely Victoria Falls was crammed full of neat and exciting activities. We love good food, but simply did not want to waste any more time than necessary on meals. However, we also wished to savor the best available food, & at times that fit our busy schedules. Stanley’s Terrace, open from 11AM to 9PM, hit our sweet... More

I had a meal here while staying at the hotel one evening and was very happy with everything. The service was friendly. I had an excellent steak with potatoes. The wine was inexpensive and very good (a South African pinotage). The terrace itself is lovely and tranquil.

This is one of the restaurants at the Victoria Falls Hotel. The food is quite good. I even tried an ostrich and polenta dish. Yummy. An extensive bar menu is also provided.

Had a really lovely afternoon tea overlooking the lawn and the monkeys playing on the chairs! The food was delicious, scones, pastries and fabulous tea sandwiches, curried chicken, salmon and cucumber my favorites. It was also relatively economical at $15/person. Service was attentive but not very speedy. Of course with afternoon tea one should relax! We also had lunch here,... More

Had a really enjoyable afternoon tea on the terrace after walking across from Zambia side to visit the falls on the Zimbabwe side. It was very tasty selection of cakes, sandwiches and scones and plenty of tea to go along with it in a beautiful surrounding. the staff were really friendly and didn't mind us being in our walking clothes... If you want a proper colonial experience, please go for high tea at the Vic Falls Hotel. The service is excellent, the view over the bridge is fantastic, and tea, cucumber sandwiches, scones etc is served in abundance.Highly recommended!

I have been here on a number of occasions over the years and have never been disappointed. Usually , its the sip a G & T and admire the view and hopefully see the warthogs on the lawn. This time we went for high tea. What a lovely experience. I would highly recommend taking and afternoon to enjoy the experience.... More

The atmosphere you can breathe is like you were 80 or more years before and tea time is the most, but perhaps the views are oversized.

Came here for high tea and another night for cocktails. It's fun imagining what it would be like 100 years ago. The high tea food or coffee (weak) wasn't that great, but who cares because the setting is 10 stars. My mojito did not taste like a mojito either, but I didn't care. I did a decent pear salad.
