During my visits in Dar I always have breakfast at Kahawa. Firstly the AC is the best part of this place, very cool inside, provides the much needed relief from the heat. The peanut butter smoothies and roast beef sandwich are my favorites. Do not order the chai latte it will disappoint you. Stick to the sandwiches and smoothies, very good

Not the easiest place to find but worth the search. Really good coffee, I am going back to get some for my french press. They roast right there and they have some good healthy fare. Had a great smoothie, reasonable prices and I thought the service was good. Smoothie in 5 minutes, tops, and the food in 15. Nice atmosphere... More

We were at the place to try out their coffee and found it to be over rated. The place is quite small compared to other coffee place. Service is definitely slow than slower. Maybe it's the weekend but the waiter was also preparing our drinks and food which explains the slow in service. The entrance was also muddy. It would... More

Great coffee joint, where they roast in house local Tanzanian coffee. Food menu is good for all day dining. Nice chill out place with a friendly team of staff.

This is a small restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. We had their sandwiches and a smoothie. Our kids and we enjoyed the whole experience.

Not only is this quaint coffee shop my favorite place to meet with friends, it sells the best roasted coffee available in Dar.

Our favorite spot out of Dar city centre to have a good cup of coffee. They serve coffee beans from the Kilimanjaro region. It is 100% hand-roasted in-house by women they have trained. A really lovely place with reasonable prices. They also serve lunch!

Loved the place! The taste of the coffee is as good as the good service and atmosphere. I am happy to have stopped here. The Masai guard added an authenticity element to the Tanzanian experience.

I love the coffee, their food (reminds me of home!) and the atmosphere. The only negative part is that the food takes very long before it is served, and sometimes they might forget some of what you ordered. Staff is still very nice, but they need to learn how to be a bit faster! (An avocado and egg sandwich doesn't... More
