So yes it's a tourist trap but what a web to be caught up in. We went with a tour group so we had lots of personalities that made it fun. the food was plentiful and fast. They get you in and out. The dishes are simplified for the tourist so don't be afraid to try a little of everything... More

It's touristy, but we had a blast listening to the music and watching the patrons dance and have a good time. I had the Chicken Tagine with olives, and it was perfect as anywhere else I've had it in Morocco. I have never been disappointed by this dish in Tangier. If you're looking for something a little bit lively, but... More

This is a very touristy place. We were a group of 7 couples on an excursion, day trip. Our guide brought us here and we came in as a group of fifty or so headed out. He guided us to a private seating area and through the menu in the best possible way. Everything we had from the appetizers, to... More

We found this place on the outskirts of the Medina and yes, the decor is over the top as only Morocco can do it but the seating is pleasantly cosy. We went one evening and the place was very quiet (I think most tourists go here at lunchtime) and only one other table with people at it. However the local... More

Came on a recommendation of a shopkeeper near our hotel - probably gets commission! Arrived at around 8pm. To start with, the waiter was grumpy wanting to seat us in a corner. When we asked to sit on a more central table, given the place was virtually empty, he argued it wasn't for 3 people but 6... We weren't happy... More

OK. To be clear from the start, I absolutely understand that this place is aimed at the tourist trade. The decor is more Moroccan than anywhere else in Morocco. The live music is trditional morrocan and so is the very varied menu. They clearly work with tour companies because when we arrived (about 8.30pm) there were no more than a... More

This was the first restaurant we visited and it looked great but after an intense weekend in Tánger the restaurant is above average in quality, interest and prices. Too much tourists oriented.

Best to go for evening meal, as it is less busy with tourists later. We enjoyed the live music, the food was super and the ambiance was very nice.

I have been to Tangier 4 times this year, and one of my friends asked the AirBnB riad manager "what's the best restaurant in town?". We were told this was. We arrived. A grumpy waiter who was quickly replaced (um yeah we speak Arabic - don't talk about us please!). A wine was ordered - Dhs 120 for a local... More
