The food was ok. The tables are small. The coffee was good but not spectacular. The view was great. It has a pleasant atmosphere.

Amazing location. Rooftop experience was wonderful although the next floor down looked equally as exciting, as did the ground floor however that was most crowded with people jostling around and going to and fro so not my idea of relaxing but certainly social. Other floors looked fun but just did not have the open air experience. From the top, you... More

We were given business cards by our Riad for the Cafe as well as the other two they own. It caters for tourists and the fare is acceptable but it's let down by drab decor and lacklustre staff.

Nice place for a quick lunch on the terrace, service is really nice and food is ok considering the affordable prices. Would definitely go back!

We spent a week in Marrakech and we went to this cafe almost everyday for either dinner, lunch or just a break. It is extremely cheap (around 170dh equal to 17€ for dinner for two people). The food is great and the waiters are very nice.

We stopped here for lunch on Boxing Day. Sat in glorious sunshine on their room terrace. It was busy but only a 20 minute wait for food. Staff really working hard to serve everyone quickly. Lovely salads and sandwiches if you don't want another tagine. If its sunny there are hats lying around you can borrow. Good atmos, responsible prices... More

If you wanna taste something special just don't come here. Service is fast and kind but plates are not special even if they have very low prices (150DH two people) Great location, just outside the souk. Beautiful terrace

This is a great spot. We sat downstairs and outside. Good coffee, salad and kefta sandwich. The staff were attentive and friendly. Worth the visit.

Description
In the heart of the Medina and Souks of Marrakech lies the Rahba Kedima spice square, where old women gather to pound henna for traditional tattoos and sell hand knitted hats, while seasoned vendors run the surrounding spice stores.
Within this setting is the now famed Cafe des Epices, the perfect meeting place and rest stop from the heat and commotion of the souks. The inexpensive menu is focused on the simple and fresh, offering teas and coffee, freshly made juices, sandwiches, salads and crepes. The design is correspondingly simple: deliberately paired down and basic in order to offer a peaceful resting place after the visual overload of the Souks.
Built over 3 floors, the top terrace offers great views over the square and surrounding Medina, the non-smoking 2nd floor salon is a great place to lounge and the ground floor and outdoor tables are fantastic places from which to watch the colourful comings and goings of the spice square market.

Open daily from 9am to 10pm
