Kind of soft relaxed atmosphere and lovely dishes to indulge in, the cassata was divine! A true haven.

Lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated. Food was great and the best bit was no smoking inside the restaurant! This was the only restaurant we found that didn't allow smoking inside.

Wonderful atmosphere and the food was sensational. The John Dory on a bed of endive was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time.

After eight days in Marrakech the hubbie and I are craving anything but Morrocan food; no tagine, no cous-cous and no more flat white bread. Following a tip we head out in search of Pepe Nero - the place that serves good italian pasta. After a bit of Hazel/Gretel footwork and a whole lot off luck; we find the place.... More

This place is an actual place of heaven ! It's beautifully decorated by Moroccan architecture. And the flowers and fountains every where makes it very romantic. The food is just Wow specially the roast lamb shoulder. The desert is also so tasty. But most of t all how friendly and decent is the staff. They knew it was my husbend's... More

Hyped, many sign posts, interesting to get there (when you think 'can't be' you are almost there...) we maybe had too high expectations. We had reserved a table for two, but upon arrival were questioned by a lady with rude manners who we are, we were left alone without explanation, had to wait for two minutes during which we thought:... Fairly difficult to find, but helped by the fact a member of staff seems to appear to guide you! Well worth the find As you enter its like an oasis away from the streets, great decor, very welcoming staff and great food - the traditional soup is a must

Pepe Nero is a wonderful location for a meal in Marrakesh, the food is exquisite and the staff very welcoming. I would recommend booking as it is usually full but definitely worth a visit for those wanting to try Moroccan cuisine or for the less adventurous some Italian food.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel manager. We followed the signs from Jemma el Fnaa. It was quite a walk going through the narrow streets of the market but well worth it. The unassuming exterior hides an exquisitely designed and welcoming restaurant - a real surprise when you walk in. The food was sensational. We tried the aubergine... More

Description
PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
