We have been to Marakesh 10 times and we have to say this was theBEST meal we have had. A varied Parisian menu. We started with hot foie gras , a big portion with chopped apple in wonderful Demi glaze sauce, then my wife had a huge portion of spider crab with spaghetti in a sauce de la mere, and I had duck cassoulet avec more foie gras, breast and leg and gizzards . Truly delicious, then shared the framboise with Champaign sauce grilled and left stuffed. Did I mention a surprise amuse Boucher of tuna, and petit fore The wine which good restaurants may start at £50 a bootle was £35 for a really good rouge vin de Marco.. Our waiter Hassan a delight, the owner standing guard and welcoming at the door greeted us as old friends, and said au revoir as a grandfather. Really worth a visit, not cheap but superb with cheap wine for this city improving by the year. Merci bien. Ps sit downstairs as some people smoke upstairs but we didn’t smell a thing.

Residing in Marrakech for part of the year, this table is the sure bet of the ocher city, for me the ultimate reference Without exaggerated patriotism, this French restaurant, managed by two associates who are as friendly as they are professional, have surrounded themselves with a Moroccan team who takes great care of their customers, and their success is well deserved and not usurped!!! For lunch or dinner, a gourmet bistro menu, based only on fresh produce, varied, and which changes regularly according to the seasons and the moods of the starred chef. Small favor for the themed evening menu (this week based on lobster), where the value for money is just exceptional (It changes every 15 days) The setting is cozy and cocooned, everything is impeccable, you really feel at home. Thanks to Denis and Hervé for all the good times spent at your place.

A sumptuous place, always living up to my expectations whether for a quick formula at lunch (very affordable and an unbeatable quality / price ratio), or whether for the theme menu or à la carte... everything is very good and the budget remains very correct for such a refined cuisine. Today we were served by Yassin who was always alert and caring with us. Thanks again to Hervé Paulus for this moment of sharing and discovery. Even on simple dishes like herrings that you feel like you've put in a jar yourself or homemade puree that accompanies the back of salmon with a sorrel sauce to fall... See you soon.

This modern, elegant glass-fronted French restaurant with Italian influences is located in Gueliz in the modern part of the city, about 20 minutes taxi drive from Jemaa el Fna. Spacious seating is available on the ground-floor and a mezzanine and "L'O" is ideal for a fine dining experience, although unsurprisingly this is reflected in the prices. Menus are available online and our experience is that reservations are essential and are best made via WhatsApp. We selected a variety of seafood starters which were excellent and we were equally pleased with our main courses, which showed great technical skill and stylish presentation. Desserts were also a joy! There is an extensive list (available online) of both French and Moroccan wines and we were delighted by our selection, albeit that prices are not cheap and range between around 240 and 8,800 Dirhams. We found throughout our trip that the Moroccan reds were of high quality and represented the best value and this was also true of this restaurant. The service was excellent; friendly, professional and timely. In summary, this is a chic restaurant ideal for an occasion and it provided some of the best dining we experienced during our trip to both Marrakech and Fez. Highly recommended!

A shame ! The dish ideas are good but no mastery of cooking and seasoning. We took a lobster at almost 40th, already in doubt about the weight served, accompanied by mayonnaise (the worst mayonnaise I have ever eaten) and a small salad asking if all the vegetables were fresh. seasoning and the cooking of the lobster was deplorable, a shame not to respect this type of dish, a carpaccio of scallops with truffle not seasoned, snail tortellini also not seasoned… we sent the message to the chef but no excuses from him ah if excuses on the fact that the oil is less good here and that the Moroccans do not like salt while I have never re-seasoned a single one of my dishes since my arrival to believe that the two Michelin stars this walk in the souk, the dishes we were sent more than salty (probably the chef did not appreciate the criticism) overcooked fish mediocre presentation!

From the outside this restaurant does not give away its upmarket interior with a menu and prices to match. On our Friday night visit the restaurant was busy with a mix of international guests (think French, Brits etc) and yes the clientele is on the older side - though there was a good ambiance and buzz. The owner is welcoming and our waiter was very good. We started with langoustine with caviar and a scallop carpaccio with truffle. Both were very good though I am not a fan of truffle - my partner enjoyed it. Our mains of spider crab pasta and John Dory with potatoes were equally enjoyable if the portion of the latter was not generous. We shared a raspberry macaroon for desert. For drinks we had a Brouilly which was fine and at the lower end of the wine list and finished with a couple of Armagnac. One of the best though most expensive meals of our trip - we would go again.

Overall a delicious meal but it was only slightly let down by service and lack of ambience. The dining room is modem and chic (but not stuffy) in an upmarket neighbourhood. The place filled up quickly and seems to be frequented by middle aged and older expats. The service is courteous but our waiter didn’t know the dishes well and at this level of dining you’d expect a higher level of competence. The meal kicked off beautifully with an exquisite amuse bouche which was a foie gras pannacotta - wow, absolutely delicious, never had anything like it before. Snail tortellini was excellent and it was followed by our mains of frogs legs and tournedos Rossini. The waiter forgot to order a side dish we’d asked for and it came almost half way through. The tournedos came as a single generous fillet in a gorgeous sauce with truffle shavings. I asked for medium rare and it arrived rare so they kindly replaced it. The mash was delicious. We ended the meal with a very tasty pain perdu. We’d come back for the food. That foie gras pannacotta amuse bouche alone is worth the trip.

We were fortunate enough to arrive in Marrakech on their last day of service before a months closure for the summer and we are so glad we did! The food here is stunning and very reasonably priced. We opted for the 4 course lobster menu and everything was fresh and delicious and it was about 40 quid each for lobster! The food looks like a work of art when it arrives, our waiter Mustafá we polite, friendly and had lots of wonderful recommendations for wines and things to try. The place itself was beautiful very open and airy and the decor was very upmarket and comfortable. We are only disappointed that we couldn’t have dined there again! Thanks so much for a lovely evening!

There were 5 of us at the table, 4 of whom wanted to have the all-lobster menu. Blue lobster. the menu looks very tempting. but in the end, even if the menu price was only 390 drh (37€) we were still looking for the lobster. the first small, very fresh starter, made with a brunoise of lightly caramelized vegetables and fruits, almost looked like a pre-dessert. the lobster thermidor in the chef's style, it was a very liquid béchamel with a little cinnamon, which covered the taste of the few crumbs of lobster. luckily in the pasta dish, some nice little pieces of lobster. but we expected to have a lobster-based sauce. Finally the dessert, a mille-feuille with a puff pastry that is too thick and overcooked. In the end we would all have preferred to have just one starter instead of 2 and pay a little more but at least have real lobster on our plates. The positive point, the fifth guest at our table, enjoyed a foie gras and sea bass.

A bistronomic restaurant with Hervé a starred chef. The menu is wide but we tested the menu of the week, less than 40 euros per person without drink. Tasty and authentic recipes, fresh produce, fluid room service. Besides, the restaurant was full and it is better to book two days before.

There are those establishments where you have the impression that everything you imagine as a dream place exists. We had a great time in a dream location. Everything is there from the front door to the exit door. No false notes, decoration, atmosphere, quality of services, refined and tasty cuisine, cocktails, wines, etc. The seasoned and professional eye of the entire team, the presence of the boss who ensures that everything is perfect, the passage of the chef and his broad smile. Frankly it would have been a shame to miss this establishment. For sure we will come back and suggest to all our friends traveling to Marrakech to go there. We know what we are talking about since we are also catering professionals and have our establishment in France. Patrick and Jean Michel (Pornichet - France)

Superb French cuisine in an elegant setting. A real touch of creativity in all dishes. My Saint Pierre was excellent, served with candied lemons that gave it a little local touch very well viewed. Very good advice on wine choices. And especially a attentive and very friendly welcome.

We spent a wonderful evening here. Mr. Yassine was very attentive, advised us on the selection of food and drinks. Part of our family chose the cheese menu, the rest ate a la carte. Everyone was satisfied throughout. We can recommend this restaurant.
