Very central position so easy to find, this modest looking restaurant was a great surprise. I love the food here: tastes delicious, unpretentious and full of Morrocan flavour. Try the milk pastilla for a dreamy dessert. Also the service was excellent. We were greeted warmly and nothing too much trouble. Great prices too. I wholly recommend this restaurant if you... More

Place is very close to central square but it remains quiet and comfortable. Prices are fair and food is excellent.

We had our best eating here on our last night in Marrakech. Restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the street and is tastefully and traditionally presented. Don't be put off by the modest look from the street! Staff were very friendly, not pushy. The evening set menu options were exceptional good value. The Chicken and lemon tagine and... More

I just completely forgot to write a review about this restaurant. It was a coincident that we ended up in this restaurant during our tiring walk around the market. We were looking for a place to sit as a large group of 10 of us and have a quiet dinner, but it was early evening so we were not sure... More

Excellent food, we decided to eat here twice. Great hospitality and it was good to be in a restaurant with non aggressive hospitality. Definitely recommend it!!

This was our final dinner in Marrakesh and it was by far and away the poorest we had during our stay - very disappointing. Service seems to be slow paced in Marrakech, but the service here is staggeringly slow - relatively friendly when it happened, but one could lose the will to live whilst waiting. We had the assorted salad... More

This is a little restaurant off the Place Djema el Fna. They have good Moroccan food, but the thing to go for is the milk pastilla dessert.... absolutely out of this world!!! We went back the last evening just to have it again!

The chap who owns it is very friendly, without being too pushy, which can sometimes be the case in Marrakech. The food came quickly and was delicious. I would highly recommend the Chicken and Lemon Tajine.

In Marrakech it's easy to get into the 'tourist trap' eating places where the meals on the menu all sound the same (Tagines, Cous Cous, Moroccan salad etc.), but often the food is dull or tasteless. 'Dar Belkabir' was a pleasant exception, where I've had my best meal in Marrakech so far during my few trips. The restaurant is in... More

The best meal so far in Marrakech. Friendly people, good service, nice decoration. Second floor relaxing area to drink a tea with sweets.
