My favorite place to go when craving amazing chicken wings. I have been here with my husband and friends on Monday evenings for the weekly quiz, which is so much fun! The atmosphere is great and the staff and the owners are very friendly.

We went here after Jardin Majorelle and it was lovely. Wide range of drinks and food available at extremely good prices. Servings were a good size as well. Live music is on from 7pm both Fri and Sat nights, as well as all the books and board games! Wish we could have stayed longer!

My girlfriend and I were looking around for a book store when we came across cafe du livre, we were greated by a very polite women behind the bar who served us 2 coffee's whilst we looked through their book selection. As we were leaving the owner of the cafe told us there was an english quiz night at 7... More

Thriller enthousiats, buckle up for some of the most interesting war books and thriller shelves in the city, if not the country. The menu was however a bit disapointing, but overall great chilling place and really nice staff.

We spent a wonderful few hours in cafe du livre between arriving back at the train station and leaving for the airport. The food is delicious and well priced, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and they have shelves full of books and games, making it a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Best of all they were kind enough to... More

We searched and searched for this cafe and finally found it through the courtyard of Hotel Toulousain. Upstairs, among the books, the atmosphere is pleasant and our expectations were high. After dreary service and disinterest, our food arrived and was disappointing. Coffee alright. There are other choices and I would not go again.

We walked past the entrance to this place the first time! You have to go through the courtyard of Hotel Toulousain to find it. We enjoyed reading the books from their selection while we waited. The coffee was really good and we enjoyed the food too.

The atmosphere is unique. An idea by the owners Younes and Liz. You are surrounded by books and the music in the background is pleasant. The girl working here is friendly and helpful. It's a good place where to read a book, play chess or just sit and celebrate the beauty of life.
