Every time I go to marraquexe I end up in the Café de La Post. For a gin tonic, lunch or dinner. And, after all these years, it still is one of the best places to be in the city. For the food, service but...mainly for the French-colonial style of the Café. Even tough it was one of only places we went with gluten free food and bred. It’s a must go.More

As a trusted member of TripAdvisor, I always seek to look back to good memories and try to revive them when I had the chance to go back to the same destination after a long time of absence, in this cafe I was preparing for...my wedding in marrakech and was looking forward to take my husband back with my two kids, to my unfortunate experience we were extremely disappointed by the poor service, the very bad food served even if it’s just breakfast, nothing magical, it was not fresh, heated to burn, and mini overpriced portions. After receiving a phone call from my sister to find out if we arrived well to marrakech and check on us, I was stunned by a rude staff asking me to switch off my phone!!!!! My husband eyes almost popped out by surprise, how on earth is it possible to treat any costumer like that, I would have understood if I was loud but the restaurant music was way louder I couldn’t hear my sister, the coffee machine also was making too much noise but it’s ok for a cafe, the problem is we were the only people there! As shown in the photos. The manager apologized, but it is not making up for my very bad experience. There is tons of way better cafes and outstanding service in the area less expensive and way enjoyable. Never a step back in this awful place.More

This is a beautiful restaurant with a menu that had something for everyone. After a long day to get to Marrakech, we appreciated the soothing atmosphere and the wonderful service. I had the Grilled Calamari and Vegetables and it was fabulous. The desserts are also...not to be missed. One of my group ordered the Chocolate Eclair, and was delicious and enormous!More

Went here for lunch. As many other reviewers have mentioned, this cafe is a throwback to another era, maintaining its old world colonial charm. The clientele is mostly expat French, with a menu to match such tastes. All in all the food and service were...both good. We had all our suitcases with us owing to our flight leaving town that afternoon. Staff were very helpful and made sure our bags were watched over whilst we dined.More

Not bad at all, but certainly not the best. Nice food and the guy who looked after our table was top drawer. Unfortunately the ladies who greeted us and then tried to meet our requirements for drinks were at best....rude.

We came here having read reviews and really enjoyed a relaxed stay. It was a busy Friday evening, but staff were as attentive as we needed and the food was really good. The building is really nice and has a sort of Colonial feel to...it but clean and modern inside. Staff were really keen to ensure the taxi we took back to our Hotel after was a "good one" which was a nice touch.More

Le Gran Cafe de la Poste is a beautiful old building which used to be a post office in Marrakech. My experience was limited to drinks before dinner and the service was great as was the yesteryear atmosphere.

It’s a full restaurant not a coffee/tea shop but maybe try it. They have a great outdoor seating area.
