Getting to the restaurant is itself an adventure - hidden away down an alley or four, you feel the atmosphere before you knock on the beautiful door. Once inside, the adventure continues. Candlelight shows you enough but no more. Fascinating decor, teasing smells and the most welcoming table. Moroccan music accompanies you to your seats, the staff are very attentive,... More

Our meal at Le Tobsil was excellent. We had a set traditional Moroccan meal which was 5 courses and was very filling cost was approx £50 per person and included wine. Service and the local "band" were great! The Riad was down some alleys but a doorman guides you to a door and what a pleasant surprise behind it

It's not so easy to find this restaurant because it's in a private Riad and there is no sign outside. Best way is to take a taxi. The driver will drop you at the doorman of the restaurant who guides you through the narrow alleys to the entrance door. It's a walk of only five minutes. The restaurent offers only... More

This place was amazing. Down a little backstreet hidden behind a massive decorative door. It's beautiful and opulent with candlelit tables, thick red carpets, rugs and curtains. The food and service were amazing, really indulgent and I think a real taste of morocco from years gone by. Just go for the set menu and let them take care of everything.... More

We were a group of nine and were well looked after. Delicious food, wonderful music, and amazing setting. Will return.

We had a lovely experience in Le Tobsil. The traditional Moroccan food was one of the best we had, and the overall experience was just wonderful. Lovely place with great atmosphere and local musicians. We had the set menu for two which was pretty pricey in our opinion, but there was more than enough food and the service was great!

Le Tobsil is a lovely authentic restaurant. It has a great atmosphere and the staff and food are both good. There is no roof terrace so it can get a little warm in the summer months.

Old world opulance and elegance, this can be found amongst the Medina. Its what I envisaged Morocco to be. Here the meals are prepared using fresh produce. Here you can find a reall good Cous Cous. Sevice from the staff and the surrounds makes you feel like a king!

We had read very positive reviews about this restaurant, and the atmosphere was as reviewed by many others, excellent. Not too difficult to find, and definitely pure Moroccan. All of that has to be balanced against a very negative experience that we had in our dining. We had read very positive reviews about this restaurant, and the atmosphere was as... More

Some places make you fall in love with a city and this is the one that sold Marrakesh to me, frankly after a hard 2016 spring that would not end with a string of personal and work difficult issues. Finding Le Tobsil two steps from the Hasna Riad where I was staying, not knowing what to expect in a no... More
