From the moment my girlfriend and I walked in the experience was just perfect. Very friendly and personable. The 7 course taster menu is fantastic and every dish was in our opinion excellent . The desert is a miracle of culinary science . A lot of care and passion is put into this food , that is very clear. Thank... More

A must-try especially for those who are tired of tagines and couscous! A unique experience, that is a gastronomic journey that everyone should experience atleast once in their life. Well done to Chef Najat and Charles. Excellent hosting by Abdou and the waiters as well. Fresh, wholesome food- all locally sourced- a changing 'surprise' menu- a delightful experience all around.... We love traditional Moroccan food, but it is also nice to have a change during a week long visit to the country. Nur is clearly a more upscale fine dining restaurant that is foodie haute cuisine in style. That may not be everyone's cup of tea but my family and our traveling friends found it to be not just a... Moroccan food is delicious yet Nur Restaurant distinguishes itself from the ordinary the way a fine artist outshines a house painter. Nur was the last and best place we ate during two weeks in Morocco. The location is nearly impossible to find on your own in the old medina. To make it easy, the restaurant sent someone to escort us... More

If you only have 3 hours in Fes, spend them at Nur. Moroccan chef/owner, Najat Kaanache, trained and cooked at French Laundry, Per Se, Alinea and Noma. She returned home to Morocco with the goal of becoming the first restaurant in Morocco's history to earn a Michelin star. Judging from the meal we had, she is well on her way.... More

A multi-course "foodie" experience awaits when you dine at NUR. They create exceptional, international flavors with each dish presented. We enjoyed one of our most memorable meals here with excellent service to match. Be sure to express dining preferences beforehand (we stated fish/seafood) and then the magic will start to appear ~ course after course of delectable tastes of unimaginable... More

It was fun talking with Nur's owners Charles and Chef Najat about this challenging adventure they have begun. You walk out of the medieval bustle of the Fes medina into a little world of contemporary artwork and design. Sit down with a bottle of Pellegrino and begin a haute culinary experience, a 7 course tasting menu worthy of a big... More

I thought this place was very good , the mole sauce on the chicken was a little to much chocolate and sweet for my liking, but the presentation was top notch and service was good . Timing between our dishes was off and we waited longer then other tables in the restaurant but food was my Priorty for rating. You... More

Note: NUR is a completely new establishment that bought over Numero 7 3-4 months ago. The very good reviews prior to 2017 on TA under this new restaurant name NUR refers to reviews for Numero 7. We wanted to book Numero 7 for a non-traditional dinner in Fes. Mgt did inform us via email that a new Basque-born Moroccan lady... More

When you told me that I must divorce and fire my partner, Charles, one of the most kind, gentle and humble human beings in this industry, I knew your efforts to heap injury on top of the insults you hurled at him at the top of your lungs in my intimate dining room would extend to Trip Advisor. Well, you've... More

really good food, interesting modern presentaion, on a small street in the Medina. We had a guide walk us through the Medina later at night and led us through this small door and "bam" a modern bistro with a beautiful buildout. The owner chatted with us for a while and we went int the kitchen to meet the chef. Great... More
