The concept might be a bit hokey, but this restaurant certainly appears to be one of the best in all of Casablanaca! Be sure to reserve, as it books up fast and is a tourist favourite. Bearing in mind that it is a bit of...More

Sure its touristy, but the food quality is top notch! Definitely a great place for stellar desserts and a great ambience as well (minus the smoke). The piano music can get annoying but the food more than makes up for it. Didn't really pay too...More

Service is slow, the food is mediocre, price is high and the resemblance of anything to do whatsoever with the movie is nonexistent. If you don’t speak French and you are an American you get surly service and a bad attitude. If you love the...More

I went expecting the worst, and had a wonderful time. The service was friendly and very good, although I must admit it was not crowded and we were early. The food was solid, not special but my wife loved her chicken dish and my duck...More

Had to wait to get in, but enjoyed the thrill of being at Rick's. They did a good job of mimicking the movie set. The service was decent, considering it was packed, and we were seated at the roulette table beside the upper bar. It...More

Full disclosure: our travel agent talked us into this. Rick’s is everything you’d expect from a movie-themed restaurant owned and operated by an American. Safe food. Safe wine choices. Big portions. Plenty of other tourists. As I said when posting about this on Facebook, it’s...More

Above title sums it up. Food and drinks were average. Definitely went because of the atmosphere and relevance in American pop culture. For once I wish an expensive, “tourist trappy” type place would put thought into the quality of their food and drinks. It would...More

Lovely service and good food. Visit it for the "Casablanca" feel. The food portions are very large,so order accordingly.

We stopped in for lunch and for dessert later that evening. The place is pretty cool looking and nostalgic. We did not have reservations for lunch, you are stopped at the door, they went in to see if they had availability and we were let...More

Business casual - no jacket or tie required for men but many men wear sports jackets. Women tend to wear nice dresses but not as fancy as a cocktail dress.

Rick's Cafe Casablanca is a restaurant, bar and cafe located in the city of Casablanca, Morocco. Opened March 1, 2004, the place was designed to recreate the bar made famous by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in the movie classic Casablanca. Set in an old courtyard-style mansion built against the walls of the Old Medina of Casablanca, the restaurant - piano bar is filled with architectural and decorative details reminiscent of the film: curved arches, a sculpted bar, balconies, balustrades as well as beaded and stencilled brass lighting and plants that cast luminous shadows on white walls. There is an authentic 1930's Pleyel piano and As Time Goes By is a common request to the in-house pianist
