An absolute rip off and not at all authentic as people say. was charged three times more than any of the locals eating there for a very average tagine. Used to be recommended by Lonely Planet and now they are advising people not to to there. If you want authentic eat around the Talborjt area also good basic food around... More

Very good location , very warm welcoming stuff , the food was excellent and exactly as we wanted it , the prices were average and very clean restaurant .

My friends and I were recommended to go to the restaurant by a member of staff in the hotel where we stayed. We arrived and got a really warm welcome. Inland a bit from the main Tourist areas on the Rue Marrakech, not far from th main taxi rank, this is a traditional-cuisine restaurant with no frills serving mainly the Local trade. Bab Marrakech on Rue de Marrakech is the worst ever and must be denounced. A chicken tajine was requested for one person but what was presented was enough to feed a family of four. When a 200Dh note was presented for payment, change of less than 50Dh was given and no amount of argument could persuade them to give more... More
