Everything about this place is top notch. Our server was attentive, informed and had a great sense of humor. We had been out and about all day and everything we ate was so, so good. From the roasted red pepper dip to the tostadas, everything...More

I was in ames for three weeks working. We tried several restaurants (everyone on TripAdvisor recomendations) and the café was by far the best in town. They change the menu regulary but every dinner from the wood grill worth the money.

The Cafe is definitely known as one of the Two Restaurants You Must Eat At If You Want the Best Food in Town (OK, I may be stretching that just a bit, but it's basically true.) And it is really good...just not worthy of a...More

This place is very popular with locals and everyone has positive reviews. It's regular American dinner fare. Other than salads and a veggie burger, options for vegetarians and vegans are limited. For lunch options were better and healthier.
