The place is great: from the friendly staff to the delicious food, New China is excellent. I love trying new Chinese food places, but New China is (by far) the best place in Ames and one of the best in Iowa.

Food was freshly made and hot. I was the only person there at the time and yet one table remained dirty the whole time I ordered and waited for my food. The Marcydiner rating 5-no screaming kids.

The food is outstanding, and the price beats Spice by far. They go out of their way to make you happy, it is worth the trip. I just say try it!

I was looking for another restaurant, and walked in by accident. decided to stay and try it. It was DEEEE-LISH! Very good and slightly different than what I'm used to. Great size helpings and traditional dishes. Would definitely return!
