You'll feel right at home in this long-standing icon of the Amana Colonies. If you're hungry, be sure to order the family-style meals served with a wealth of tasty sides, all homemade. (The pickled beets are out of this world!) The servers are genuinely caring and,. welcoming.

We've been eating here for 20 years. The quality of the food and service is tops. We love the fried chicken and schnitzel. Great pies...homemade. And very good beer. A must if you are heading down I80. Only a few miles from the interstate. We were here very late on Easter and our server Lori, who must have been dead... More

My husband and I stopped in one night for dinner and really enjoyed our meal. The decor is definitely dated; but, it is appropriate for the setting. The wait staff was very good and the food was excellent. I had the ham and it was pretty amazing. The husband had the walleye and said it was a little dry. We... More

The Sunday brunch has everything you could hope for and more. Large variety of salads, all kinds of breakfast fixing, plus some good home made German specials. There are rolls, muffins, breads and a huge desert table. Only problem is you want to try more but are too full!!!!!

We had breakfast here. The service was exceptional with courtesy and efficiency. There was a large table and our server was still able to anticipate our needs. She really took pride in her job. Everyone's food was very good. Large portions for the price.

We were at Ox Yoke Inn in the off season and it was a great place with good food. German food is their specialty. The staff was very nice and attentive.

This is very much a tourist restaurant and not like it was 30 years ago; but then, neither am I. Their sauerbraten has been toned down and the spaetzle was watery - but I can't cook spaetzle very well either. Overall the food is fine and the service is decent.

Have been visiting this restaurant for 45 years. Not a lot has changed and I am fine with that. Has always been my go to for meals in Amana. Lunch with parents. We used to do the Sunday brunch (wish places would've kept serving champagne!), but this was a Saturday. I usually get the ham or pork but tried something... More

We had the family meal with beef, chicken and ham. It was okay- but the coleslaw was legendary. I like coleslaw, but this was some seriously awesome coleslaw. I wish I would have just had the coleslaw.
