Had the bowl of gumbo, it was very good and had a lot of meat and veggies, roux was quite good. That was a meal itself. Then had the Cajun marinated cat fish. Quite good, but not the "generous portion" advertised in the menu. Wife had the 4 jumbo shrimp plate and she was very happy.

French Market is a regular lunch spot for us. I usually end up ordering the seafood pasta, which is fantastic. The Cajun burger is good too. I also love the salads with homemade dressing. I don't recommend the sushi though.

Disappointed. Reviews were much better than the experience. She crab soup was good. Seafood au gratin was average at best. Mostly shrimp and couldn't find a scallop, not much cheese. Rice was bland and house dressing didn't taste like much. Doubt we will return. Service was good.

French Market is the real deal. It offer authentic cajun food and great seafood. Plus, its desserts are beyond amazing; they've won the Best of Augusta competition just about every year for the last 25 years. Relaxed atmosphere, good service, and good food! It's one of our default places to go when we're looking for Southern Comfort food. My husband's... More

We had a great experience at the Grille! A local spot that offers a variety of southern classics and seafood dishes! We got the fried green tomatoes and we're not disappointed!! I ordered the crab cakes, one of the best I've tasted! The meal came with a salad and rolls. My husband ordered the jumbalaya, which he enjoyed! Staff is... More

This is a must visit dining location in Augusta. Probably my most favorite place to eat. They have two locations in area. Excellent service. Both locations have full service bars. Gumbo and jambalaya are my favorites. Also have some fantastic poor boy subs. Cajun cooking at its finest.

One of the busiest eateries in The Surrey Center during Masters week. They have Cajun dishes, low country tastes that will have you grinning! And the bar can serve up some mighty good cocktails. And if you don't normally eat desserts, just ask to listen, just listen to their pies and cakes. Heavenly. I am just saying ... you might... More

Wonderful Bar Service and Dinner. Beer was super cold! The friend shrimp were delish! Red beans and rice also great. Bartenders very friendly and checked on us over and over. Can't wait to go again!! We had quit going to the one on Furys Ferry about a year ago Bar service was so bad.

Staff, food and atmosphere are top of the chart. Spicy and memorable experience. A place to visit time and time again. Close your eyes and there you are in Louisianan.
