The soup and sandwich combo is a great go-to on a cold December day. The grilled cheese sandwich is the greatest of all time. If you have room left after your enormous meal, there's cake! I recommend the peanut cake if available. Love this place.

Family met here after walking thru the botanical gardens. Service was a little slow but the food was delicious. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy and had no idea it was vegetarian. Ate every bite. I enjoyed the grilled cheese with tomatoes and spinach.

Four of us went to The Grit for dinner. I had gotten the noodle bowl of the day. It was good, but not memorable. The waiter wasn’t very good, and maybe that had tainted my experience. I will probably try the restaurant again sometime, since...More

I love this place. It has good food and a real easy vibe. My meat-eating husband has even suggested that we go here. He loves the vegetarian Tofu Reuben Sandwich. It really is good. Truthfully, though, it's worth going to The Grit just for their...More

The food at the Grit is incredible. Prepare to eat a vegetarian meal, but also prepare for how quality the food and service is. A unique building and vibe that leaves you wanting to come back. (And don't forget, always get a desert here😊)

Food was wonderful but had to wait almost an hour to get a table. I enjoyed their tabouli salad and my husband had loaded nachos. They were pretty good. Ambience is off beat and unique. It was a nice experience for a change.

Went for dessert with some girlfriends. We had a great time and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The coconut cream pie was my favorite. The cinnamon pie was also delicious.

If you are a vegan or vegetarian, this is the place for you. It's not often my vegan daughter has options at a restaurant. Great variety on the menu. She got the gyro with sweet potato fries and loved every bite. I got the cheese...More

Party of four adults for breakfast, weekday. Non of us vegetarians. Between various egg dishes and pancakes we all loved our orders. All-important coffee was loved by all. Only complaint was that otherwise helpful and friendly server a bit slow to refill our cups of...More

This is not a bad restaurant, but it is also not great. The food is okay, and the service is consistently slow. I'd recommend the Golden Bowl or the Hot Noodle Bowl, but I'd skip all the Middle-Eastern inspired items, which lack spices and flavor.
