We keep coming back here because the atmosphere is fantastic, well lit, and has open air seating. And also because they accept reservations which is rare for brunch! The food is consistent, even with the chef changes and the coffee is great.

My wife and I went to breakfast there on Saturday. The restaurant has a very healthy menu and feels very open and comfortable. We had the most enjoyable time sitting at the bar and talking to our bartender Celeste. It is not surprising that she received an award for hospitality in 2014. We look forward to returning.

The menu is short and sweet, which is good -- something for everyone, but not overwhelming. I chose the vegetable plate consisting of 4 very unusual vegetable creations along with cornbread. All of the veges were really good (not your typical southern cooked veges) -- Very enjoyable meal!! Not crazy about the cornbread -- not "southern" enough for me, but... More

We stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant in Athens this weekend. Heirloom offers both indoor and patio dining. The restaurant was fairly busy, but our service was fast and attentive. The menu is small, which has allowed the restaurant to perfect the items they offer. From the dinner menu, we selected the fried pork shoulder and the trout - both... More

We had brunch here after church. The quiche tasted like it was made with evaporated milk. The benedict eggs were overcooked. The scones available upon request were teeny tiny. I'd rather eat at the Porterhouse Grill - so many more choices and so much better food.

Menu is dull and unappealing. Meatloaf? More brown food? Won't be back. Used to like this place. If I wanted over cooked home food I'd stay home where the food is much better

Stopped in for lunch on a rainy day, so it was fairly busy. Service was a little slow, but we ordered a shrimp po'boy, BBQ sandwich and a veggie burger. they were all fairly tasty, but small in size ( the po'boy especially). Overall it is a good healthy option but expensive for what you get.

And a fantastic place for lunch. Brunch too! I love this setting! Bright and cheerful with lots of diners chatting in quiet little groups. I could not decide what to order. Check the menu online. I had arugula salad with beets, pecans, pecan dressing, pickled red onions, dates and wheat berries. Two of our group had shrimp po-boys that were... More

Food very good, very creative, a bit pricey. Entrees at $18-24 with no salad, etc. Appetizers very imaginative as well.
