This is one of the very few restaurants in Copan that serves more than bog standard grilled everything and basic Honduran cuisine. The portions are good (we couldn't finish ours) and although relatively expensive by Honduran standards, it's still cheaper than European restaurants and good...value. The service is good too. Try the caipirinha in the bar - the best I've ever had!More
The ambiance is good, the food is unbelievable - not "good food for Honduras" but "great food, period". Sophisticated flavors and recipes, generous portions, beautifully plated. The servers did not speak much English but the menu was bilingual and easy to navigate. Top marks for...wonderful food! So many intriguing choices, we're going back tomorrow night (this is our 5th night in Copan so we've tried several other restaurants).More
Our group came here twice for dinner and it was good both times.
I cannot say how everyone felt about their food, but my wife and I liked ours. The Caesar salad was excellent, and I had a chicken dinner one night and a burger...the second time. Both were good with a local flair to them. The wait staff were very attentive, although their English was only slightly better than my Spanish.
Prices were expensive for this area, but inexpensive compared to a similar restaurant int he states.
I would come again.More
I ate different Food every night (chicken and pasta) and both meals tasted very good and big portions. The price is reasonable. Both Nights I had the best Lemonade with water, and will really recommend it! Good service. Nice atmosphere! The selection of Food is...wide.More
This restaurant is in the Hotel Marina Copan. We ate two of the local specialties, Pollo Gin & Pio (grilled chicken with ginger and hot pepper), and Pollo Copaneca (Chicken with a spicy herbed mole) - both excellent, served with very fresh vegetables, priced around...$12 each. Wines apparently available only by the glass - flan for dessert was unexciting. Friendly and attentive service.More
