I did not stay here but was lucky enough to watch the sunset and have dinner. The place is gorgeous. Dinner was great. The staff was okay but not the super friendly folks we had met throughout this area. This is a must see- even...if you just stop in for a drink.More

I just visited Hacienda San Lucas, we went for the kids to know and see the place. A good place to do bird watching, it has an awesome view of Copan Ruins. They have good coffee and I had a beer at good prices. A...very natural hacienda, they keep many of the original things, you can do many activities, we saw some foreigners riding horses with such nice scenery. I did hear good comments of the hotel, even though we did not stay. Great layout, lovers of nature will like it, great weather in Copan at this time.More

We went there to wash the sunset after being in the Copan Ruins and it was extremely relaxing there to sit overlooking the mountains and watching the sunset while sipping on Rum. We didn’t do much in this place but it would be worth visiting...since they offered other activities.More

I was on a leisure trip with a couple of friends and we were highly recommended of this place. This is not a rant, more of a summary of one bad experience that went horrible. Although the place has nice scenery, the food is completely...overpriced and it does not measure to what they give you on your plate. Staff is friendly and kind but completely unaware of customer service. We tried to split the bill in different cards and the owner called it a "circus act" that took over 20 minutes which made us feel uncomfortable with the experience. Finally we tried to save this ordeal by walking through the premises to check the yoga spot they have, only to be scolded by one of the staff members sent by the owner herself cause we walked through a run down wooden floor that had no signs whatsoever. Awful experience.More

My family and I went for breakfast. The hacienda itself is a gourgeous place, it has great views and a traditional hacienda style setting. The food was good and the staff very friendly. I would definetely go back, maybe even to stay there.

I visit Hacienda San Lukas as part of my horseback riding from Coban. The location is fantastic, the views are breathtaking and the Hacienda is a living museum! Wealth staying for a night or two! Their food and drinks are also super

I love this place! The owners are wonderful people and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful! We ate breakfast and dinners here for the most part and the food was excellent! The rooms have air conditioning and a rustic but immaculate. I would come here...again in a heartbeat. Staff are all friendly and helpful!More

Beautiful view of the Copan Valley. Rustic, very typical hotel that sits on top of mountain. Friendly staff..

There are a number of good restaurants in Copan, but Hacienda San Lucas stands out as particularly special. Not only are the grounds and restaurant charming, the views are awesome and the food is delicious. Based on the waitress’ recommendation we ordered the Pollo con...Loroco and the Pollo en Salsa de Jengimbre from the lunch menu. It was superb. Vegetables cooked perfectly and chicken in a savory sauce. In terms of a culinary experience, there are few restaurants in Honduras I’ve experienced few that can serve up a traditional dish in such a fresh and interesting way. Highly recommend.More
