My receipt was proof that I had ordered my meat well done. Awful service. Manager did nothing to offer to correct their mistake. See picture of receipt showing 'bien asada'. Never again.

We even asked for a different tablecloth as the one on table was way too filthy. Then we asked for candles to be light. Nothing worked. Had a least four flies all over our food. Never again, too dirty. Portions were too small. Awful.

The best is the live music with a group of kids playing marimba, flute, drums and some prehispanic instruments. The service is very kind, the place is clean and you can eat in the yard having a beautiful view. I tried the Subanik and it was very good. A complete Guatemalan experience.

We got to Antigua pretty late and the restaurant had just closed when we got there. I couldn't believe it when they opened their doors to serve just 2 people! It's sad to read the bad reviews because I thought the food was delicious! More specifically, their nachos. The rest was ok but their nachos were just the best I've... More

Because I could not find a review site for the Arrin Cuan in Antigua, I have decided to review it here - hope it is not a problem as we also dined at the Guate restaurant and liked it. Are they under the same ownership? How disappointing! Possibly the worst dining experience we have had. Watery, thin soups with poor... More

We ate at the Guatemala City location and really enjoyed it. We had a meal for four which included steak, chicken, sausage and pork. Delicious! The sides and soups were good, too. I thought the price was fair for the quality and quantity of food. I would give the Guatemala City location a 4/5 stars. ANTIGUA LOCATION: The reason for... More

This restaurant has the reputation of being one of the best offering traditional food. I can well believe it because we are very well indeed. The dishes were not like European food and varied greatly but tasted excellent. I recommend eating here for a taste of Guatemala.

We visited this cozy little restaurant late at night in zone 1 and it was open. We were happy to find it open since most restaurants in zone 1 close early. There was a reserved area for a celebration and they had Live Marimba playing. The ambience was nice, full of paintings depicting multicolored Guatemala, woven typical fabrics, gardens, and... More

Located in downtown Guatemala City not far from the presidential palace(?), Arrin Cuan Iis great place to eat. We had lunch here and I let our host choose my meal. It was a delicious pepian. The atmosphere is comfortable with alternating styles of live music. The service was exceptiinal. Parking across the street was safe with armed guards as is... More

Average is about what it is. This restaurant has a lot of potential but lacks any energy because there were no other customers besides us on a weekend at dinner time. The restaurant has charm but again when there is nobody else in this big establishment, it lacks atmosphere. The food portions and presentation were big but the meat was... More
