This was the first restaurant I visited in Guatemala City and it set the bar very high. The food was great (highly recommend the black bean soup) and it's a fun spot for tourists. Nearly every surface is covered in mayan-printed clothes.

Attractive and large circular room topped with a conical palmfrond-like ceiling, nice background music, much ambience, but at 19:30 on a Sunday I was the only customer present, another couple arrived a bit later. I was here just for a small meal and selected the...More

For those wishing to sample a variety of great Guatemalan dishes, this is a great place to start...or finish! They have marimba players accompanying your diner and great service. A little pricey, but the food is good. Great if you are a traveller or have...More

Description
Traditional and gourmet Guatemalan food set on a large "palapa"style architecture. Upscale traditional decoration, local music and waiters with typical outfits; great for turists, out of town clients, families and local foodies. A wonderful Guatemalan experience right in the center of the Hotel zone.
