Very good food and great service! Drinks were very good but a bit pricey. Loved the OJ Margarita! Dinner was very good. Had the fresh fish as the daily special. All good and I would recommend

Awesome restaurant. Food, service, and ambience were great. We had several of the entrees and all were very good. Would definitely go there again.

Four of us visited the Rumfish last night for the first time. It is our third trip to this part of Belize and we wanted to give it a try due to the overwhelming reviews. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed with our experience. The setting was nice enough, but far better can be found (i.e. overlooking a beach vs. a street).... More

Fresh food, lots of variation, lively fun atmosphere and excellent cocktails. This likely the most upscale restaurant in Placencia, but it is 100% worth the visit - or two! Everything was perfectly cooked, the servers did an excellent job describing each dish and providing recommendations. Definitely one of my favorite meals and dining experiences of the trip.

We were on a sailing trip out of Belize. Prior to provisioning and leaving on the boat, we ate at Rumfish. The food is excellent and service good. The owner came by to make sure we were delighted. Highly recommend this while visiting.

Got in town just in time for the last of the lobster season and Rumfish prepared it to perfection. Great balconies to catch the evening breeze and the service was exceptional.

Snook with pineapple and ginger chutney was today's special served with lemon rice. Dessert a banana topped cream brûlée. A little problem with the cream brûlée but otherwise the best meal yet. The fish was a tad over cooked but still good. The service was attentive and no rush. Linger. Eat here! The portions are not oversized like many restaurants.... More

The food at Rumfish is spectacular. In season, be sure to book a table or you might not get a spot! They are that popular.
