We visited Cenaida's while in San Ignacio and really enjoyed our visit. I had the special of the day, coconut shrimp. This is not the coconut crusted variety. It was small shrimp in a very tasty creamy coconut sauce and delicious. My sister and brother-in-law had stewed chicken with coconut rice and my husband had a shrimp burrito, all very... More

We stopped in for dinner and everything was fine but not memorable The menu is basic and standard for the area. The food was good and the prices were excellent but it wasn't very memorable. The server didn't seem to excited and was heard being critical of the "Americanos". The atmosphere is also pretty average. I wouldn't make stopping here... More

If you ask a local where to eat they will say Cenaida's. The best food at the best price. Great service and really helpful staff. You may be the only tourist in the place.

I cannot even put into words how delicious the food was we've had here! It's located in one of the back streets of the main street and has very high value for money. It's all super fresh, even the juices are all freshly made. Concerning the sour sop juice, they even came to our table to tell us about the... More

You'll find this eatery across from the post office in San Ignacio in a quite alley/side street. The food portions were great and quality was excellent for the price. The stewed chicken was great as were the quesadillas. The blended drinks were large and fresh. The beer was ice cold and service was great and friendly. Some outdoor seating (porch)... More

This is definitely local cuisine. The menu is not very varied, but it does have some good solid food. Service was efficient, if not overly friendly. We set on the porch, thinking it would be cooler. It turned out to be hotter than inside, so not extremely pleasant. One thing you can say, it is extremely inexpensive.

After a long hike, Cenaida's is an economical and delicious choice for local Belizean fare. The coconut beef dish was quite satisfying and paired well with a banana smoothie.

The service was very fast, and the food was delicious. My wife and I each had the Stewed Chicken, and each dinner cost only $3.50 (American) per person!

Parfois un peu trop plein mais la cuisine reste bonne. It can get busy at times but the food stays good.
