Aba Isieni "One Love" in Garifuna is a genuinely culinary "must experience". Santos is a real chef!! Formerly cooked in NY, Caye Chapel, and various high end resorts. His gift is Garifuna dishes including Jerk Chicken and Jerk Fish Filet. Everything on the daily menu is very good. Not a fancy place...the beauty is on the plate. A favorite for... More

When you see a place frequented by the locals, it has to be good. Food was very flavorable and spicy. My daughter, who is spice intolerant, loved the food. It did get hot for her, but the carrot juice they offer for drinks cuts right through the heat. Very reasonably priced. We had jerk shrimp, jerk fish, and jerk chicken... More

We always stop here at least once when we are in San Pedro. The food here is amazing. All the locals line up at lunch including the policeman on their motorcycles. You gotta try this. The jerk chicken is wonderful.

Best food we had during our trip. I could have ate there everyday. They will even cook your fish if you bring it to them. Great prices, fresh juices and wonderful family.

Really good food - and really inexpensive! Now painted red rather than blue, but the same deliciousness all the same. On the left hand side of the road about 250ft before you get to the bridge. Don't let the appearance fool you. This place is a gem. I believe they're just open for lunch from 11a to 3p, but come... More

My favorite place on island. $8 bz for jerk chicken dish which is heavenly. Inexpensive and delightful for a daily lunch.

Our go to every Friday. It's got the best home Belizean cooking. Have never had a bad meal , the chef will even omit the Jerk , for me . I can't handle spicy food, I asked he said sure. Love that its air conditioned, mom, pop. Bro, sister all work the place. Great food don't miss it...

I absolutely loved this restaurant. It's a family running the business and the food was delicious... The best value I've found on the island after spending 10 days there. I loved the Jerk Chicken and fried chicken, very tasteful and filling.

Since being on the island in June i have been a t least once per week trying the whole menu. All items are delicious and very reasonably priced. Smoothies are a must when visiting as they have all types of fruit. Home like atmosphere where the staff always greets with a smile.

I like down home mama-made food.Went in Aba Isieni because it was centrally located and I was hungry. What a gem I stumbled upon by accident. I had the jerk chicken, stew beans and rice with plantains. What a treat!!! As I write this I am still on Ambergis Caye and will be heading back there for dinner. I have... More
