Make reservations! Caramba's lived up to the hype, this was one of our best dinner experiences while in Belize. This one isn't inexpensive, our dinner for 4 adults (3 seafood meals from the front porch and 1 off the menu) and 2 rounds of cocktails...ran roughly $250USD after tip. The food was great, everyone loved what they ordered and how it was prepared: Calamari Carambu Crunch from the menu, Calamari fried from the front porch, Scallops and Shrimp Garlic and Butter sauce from the front porch, and blackened Mahi from the front porch. Recommendation is to ask prices of the seafood as you select it, so you understand the cost of your plate. But would absolutely return and eat here again!More

This little place light sup the town at night with it's lights and vibrant colors, but we chose to visit for lunch. Seafood soup was to die for!! Shrimp and lobster burrito was amazing!! And, the beer was ice cold!!

Great food. Had a reservation and seated promptly. Had Red Snapper (caught that day), and lobster/shrimp tour. Both were delicious and would recommend. Service was great.

Well this felt like a tourist trap to us. The experience sounded neat - pick your own fish and have it cooked for you! But in reality they are pumping people through there like crazy with deep fried fish. Our fish that we had picked...arrived cleaned and cooked in only 10 mins. The staff are super efficient at pumping people through and it’s hard not to feel rushed. We ordered a bottle of wine (cheapest one was USD$80) and that was pointless as we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Should have just gotten a glass. Also, quite noisy. Also, we were told that when you got the fish that a starch and a vegetable were included. But that’s not one each, that’s one per fish. We found the fish quite large so only got one, but this meant we only got one baked potato and one small salad. Our waiter did not make that clear.More

Friends we went with made reservations, which you'll need to do. They book up. There is an endearing story of the owner and how he started the restaurant. The food was very good. I'm not a foodie, but I'm sure a foodie would love it....Bring your wallet, because nothing here is cheap. If you pick fresh fish out yourself, they'll cook it. Only one couple did at our table. It is more expensive also. I ordered off the menu. OK, but too expensive.More

Best meal we had in Belize! Fresh seafood that you can pick out such as various fishes and shellfish. I picked out the stone crab, lobster tail and shrimp and they asked how we would like it prepared which is also a plus. The only...challenge with this restaurant is it was very pricey $290 for our meal.More

Look, the food was as I guess would have expected. A group of six of us were there for dinner on a Friday night. I had seen all the reviews and basically expected very good seafood and maybe a chance to look over the fresh...seafood counter outside with their staff to choose my meal. It all sounded pretty cool to me! The food was quite good. No issues there. But....the noise, just deafening from the moment we walked in. It's a pretty small rectangular space with little to provide help with the accoustics. Now, we had a very loud group in there that evening and that certainly played into it. But holy cow was it loud in there! I remember sitting there looking around at the older folks sitting at other tables and noting that it didn't look like anyone could hear the other people at their tables. I'm not saying don't go here because it's pretty cool and the food is very good. Just be prepared and roll with it if you decide to go. The other reviews that mention how quickly they seem to get you in and out. That is legit. We all noted that it seemed like it was a volume thing and with a space that small I can see why getting people in and out would be good for the bottom line. It's just not the best for the folks trying to enjoy their last night in San Pedro!More

Great experience! It was very busy there, I didn't think to make reservations. I had a wait a little bit but it was worth the wait. It was the best meal I had during my stay in San Pedro. The host was very pleasant, I...ordered a beer to drink while I was waiting for a table. While waiting, I couldn't remember if I had padlocked the steering wheel to my golf cart. I approached the host so he wouldn't think I was leaving without paying for my beer. He offered to have the valet move the golf cart for me and park it closer. I was parked several blocks away, not realizing they offered valet. The valet graciously obliged. I constructed my meal from the catch of the day, I had hog fish (similar to red snapper) and prawns. They also have a separate menu but I did not utilize it. I definitely recommend Caramba Restaurant for their food and great customer service!More

SERVICE Arrive at the restaurant and our table wasn’t ready despite having booked. The service was terrible, server clearly wasn’t listening half the time, chatting to colleagues mid order, pushing the most expensive items on the menu and frankly I thought was rude. This place...is clearly a sausage factory, get you in, get you spending your money and get rid of you. FOOD Expensive for what was bad food compared to other places in San Pedro. Literally ate the previous night In Elvi’s for the same cost meal but the food was the best we had all trip and the service was we leaps and bounds above this place. They have fresh fish but CLEARLY don’t know how to cook it and everything is massively over seasoned. If you have your fish “blackened” be prepared to not be able to taste the fresh fish you picked from the glitzy tray outside. The contents of the burrito looks as if it has already been through your digestive system. ATMOSPHERE To my fellow Europeans, you will not enjoy the atmosphere here, you are there for one thing, getting your hard earned money from your pocket into there’s. This place is run like a zoo, cramped, hot, and the servers (4/5 at a time) jump on your table as soon as you leave to clean it at the speed of light to get the next poor souls into this place. To conclude, save your money, go else where in town and have a better meal and better service.More

I remember a great variety of seafood and chicken dishes. I think it's fine unless you are on a gluten free diet. There are some breaded items on the menu.
