The food was good, atmosphere of help was great, karaoke good, scenery was quaint... Flies, mosquitoes were terrible, adult beverages needed help. We would try again just use bug spray OFF .

We went this summer looking for fresh seafood. Just down the road the Acworth fish camp has good fried fish and shrimp and pretty good oysters too. Sides were okay, but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere was really fun, but service was not very attentive.

Because of bad reviews, I stayed away from this restaurant until later in the boating season. Big mistake!! The food and service is great and the burgers are huge and charbroiled and remind me of what my dad used to make. Kudos to the new owners for providing us a place to eat at while on the lake.

It was a surprise to find a huge patio on the backside of a sales/bait/fishing boat shop. The view of the docks and the lake were wonderful. We ordered the fried shrimp po boy with french fries, raw oysters, crab cakes, and mixed fried shrimp/oyster combo (served with hushpuppies). Everything was delicious, fresh cooked. I was pleasantly surprised at how... More

My daughter told us the word was out that Acworth Fish Camp has a new owner and great food. As we pulled our boat up to the dock a couple that had just ate there and we're getting on their boat to leave recommended the seafood pasta. Glad we listened. We got the Acworth oysters for an appetizer and 2... More

A fun place. Pretty diverse menu, but basically a great lakeside patio eatery. Good entertainment (DJ) on Saturday night. Awesome view. Wait staff were very engaging and fun. Jeans or even swimsuit casual. Families for burgers, or couples for a bit of dancing. Enjoy it for what it is.

I have to first start off by saying great food, great atmosphere great owners my husband and I had the best time on a lake alone, he was able to watch the beginning of college football; and he's one of Georgia bulldogs biggest fans.Me on the other hand, obsessed with the water which I try to get to as often... Ate here for the first time last night. What a gorgeous place to sit back and have a tasty meal. I had the mahi mahi sandwich. It was so good! Nice, big, piece of fish on the sandwich, and very fresh tasting. Our server was friendly, although the service overall was a bit slow. We will definitely be back though... More

My second and last trip there. Same story as my first experience: horrifically overwhelmed waitstaff slow kitchen and I never received my appetizer. Others in our party didnt get theirs either or they were incomplete. We did however get lots of food delivered that wasn't ours. We were there an easy two and a half hours and got all drinks... We had dinner for the first time at the Acworth Fish Camp last night with our son and his family and really enjoyed it. The view is beautiful and it's a great place to go if you want to relax and enjoy the lake - kind of like camping on the lake without having to actually put up a tent,... More
