While enjoying the beautiful St. John's River, we stopped for dinner at Williams Landing. We docked our pontoon boat and stepped back in time. The restaurant is an old Florida classic-dated decor and retro live music (a couple entertaining on the keyboard and saxophone) but so quaint! Fast friendly service and delicious food-including a salad bar. We enjoyed the fish... More

Stopped for lunch while traveling back from a week long class in Ocala. I've seen Blackwater/ Williams from Hwy 40 multiple times and had time to stop. It has a fantastic view of the water upstairs. Ordered the chicken basket with onion rings. As you can see they were the sorriest looking rings ever. I would have been ashamed to... More

Great place for sandwiches and cocktails. Inside and outside seating on the second floor. Good service but the view is why you are there!

We'd heard a lot about this restaurant so we decided to check it out. We opted to dine upstairs in the bar/grill overlooking the St. John's River. Service was excellent, food was delicious and there was lots of activity on the river. I had the black 'n blue burger and my husband had the Patty Melt with fries. I'd recommend... More

Get there early as there are not a lot of seats on top of Blackwater Inn but it is worth it! The view is spectacular and the melted seafood sandwich was a hit with us all! Have been there a couple times and enjoyed all of the food! Drinks are great too.

Went upstairs to Williams landing for appetizers. Server was rude, jalapeño poppers and mac and cheese bites were ok but just like any grocery store brand.

Have passed by this place many times when they are closed, ( they close somewhat early I'd say, about 10:00 PM I believe) and finally was in the area earlier, so we had to stop in.... Great view of the St. Johns River, relaxed place with good food and drinks... Will have to stop by again!! Close proximity to Volusia... More

Stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the good food. We ate at the bar on the deck and our service was outstanding. Our only concern, as we are non smokers, is the people were smoking around us. Definitely will go back though.

We stopped twice for lunch and had an excellent meal Mot importantly they had a spot for our rented houseboat to park while we ate a couple of meals we didn't have to prepare.

After our river cruise, we went up stairs to Williams landing. We sat outside on the deck, and felt like we were in a tree house. I had the Cuban sandwich and my wife had the fish sandwich, both of which were excellent. A couple of cold brews and fine a fine and friendly staff to serve it, made for... More
