The meal was delicious! I am amazed that this mountain town can get food this fresh. The selection was different from other Asian restaurants I have visited.

The staff was wonderful, made some great suggestions, all of the food was delicious and very fresh; having sushi in the mountains is one of those eyebrow raising options...however if you can get reservations do it!

Matsu falls in the category of restaurants in Aspen where you go more for the scene and to be seeing pissing off a lot of money on an average food. And that's the whole point. Everyone that truly appreciates real sushi will never consider Matsu...More

Very good meal but so pricey. Sushi was great. Staff was pretty good as well. Try to get an outside table if it is nice out

Yes it's hard to get a table here but it's worth the effort. There is an upstairs dining area and sushi bar seating that is first come first serve. Since it's off-season, you should be able to walk up and get a spot. We were...More

Description
Matsuhisa Aspen is nestled beneath a quaint victorian house in the mountain town of Aspen Colorado and features the cuisine of world renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Japanese-inspired seafood and sushi, as well as an ultra-hip scene and lively bar crowd can best describe Matsuhisa Aspen. We are a continuation of Matsuhisa L.A., Nobu New York, Nobu London and may more locations around the world.
