My first time dined at Element 47 with my husband and family. The staffs were so helpful and knowledgeable of the food. I ordered the salmon and it turn out so delicious, my sister ordered the black ink squid pasta and she loves it so much. The lobster is also very good. I will definitely come back to have dinner... Great wine service, a delicious crab appetizer, good roast duck brought our hopes up. But dry fois gras mousse, too sweet squash soup, fried quail, jello like chocolate mousse and the $400 per person cost had us yearning for Bouley.
My wife, three children and I unanimously vote that our best meal this holiday season was at Element 47. Joe was a fantastic waiter and the food was stupendous. We started with the grilled octopus, crab cakes and onion soup. All were excellent. Entrees included venison, duck, chicken, and squid ink pasta with lobster and uni. Each was better that... More
This is our go-to special occasion restaurant in Aspen. The staff are amazing (even with many new faces this season) and he food is always perfectly prepared and delicious. We were honored to try the "Pressed Duck" for two during our last visit ... finished table side, making it very retro-posh! Extensive wine list with very helpful somms. Always look... More
We went during happy hour and sat at the bar- not very comfortable, and very pricey. The best part was the free bar snacks, the sharing plates/appetizers were weird and not good. The "spring rolls" were actually egg rolls, deep fried to the extent that you couldn't taste the filling.

Aspen has a very competitive high end dining scene so I was very interested to see what this restaurant had to offer. I also read that they have one of the world's greatest wine lists which was... We ate at the bar with our pup. The bartender was incredibly helpful with menu items and ingredients and even brought our dog a peanut butter biscuit. Everything from the spare rib rolls to the salads and burgers were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Others may feel differently, but prices and portions met our expectations. Will definitely return to... More
As one of Fodor's best restaurants in Aspen, we went to Element 47 for my brother's 50th birthday. The food is pricey and the location was at the Little Nell which kinda made you think this place was going to be great. It SUCKED. All five of us got the $47 special which has a starter, dinner and dessert. Their... More
