We went during happy hour and sat at the bar- not very comfortable, and very pricey. The best part was the free bar snacks, the sharing plates/appetizers were weird and not good. The "spring rolls" were actually egg rolls, deep fried to the extent that you couldn't taste the filling.

I am staying at the Little Nell for 3 nights and decided to try the hotel restaurant, Latitude 47, on my first night. Aspen has a very competitive high end dining scene so I was very interested to see what this restaurant had to offer. I also read that they have one of the world's greatest wine lists which was... We ate at the bar with our pup. The bartender was incredibly helpful with menu items and ingredients and even brought our dog a peanut butter biscuit. Everything from the spare rib rolls to the salads and burgers were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Others may feel differently, but prices and portions met our expectations. Will definitely return to... More

As one of Fodor's best restaurants in Aspen, we went to Element 47 for my brother's 50th birthday. The food is pricey and the location was at the Little Nell which kinda made you think this place was going to be great. It SUCKED. All five of us got the $47 special which has a starter, dinner and dessert. Their... More

The food was fantastic, I had salmon and my husband had hanger steak. I also had the corn chowder which was so good and served with fresh hot bread! For dessert we had the creme brûlée, perfect! What made it a perfect and one of the best dinners we've had this year was our waitstaff person, Natalia (I hope I'm... More

Trust me....just go and don't think about what you are spending. You will have one of your finest meals ever (breakfast, lunch or dinner!). The Little Nell's staff is familiar with each item on the menu, and how to pair it with the right wines or cocktails. During the shoulder seasons, element47 offers a wonderful special in the restaurant (usually... More

We ate here for breakfast because they opened at 7am. They had a buffet breakfast set out which looked great, but we ordered off of the menu. I tried the vegetable scramble with gluten free toast and it was excellent. The kids ordered chocolate chip pancakes with bacon and enjoyed it. It is located inside of the Little Nell hotel,... My wife and I ate here, without the kids. We had the snapper tartare for an appetizer and each had a different lamb dish. Food was phenomenal. Also the service was second to none. Appreciated the awesome selection of our wine by the sommelier there. Also, for those that appreciate a good bourbon, they had an excellent selection.

Our expectations were not very high, even being located at The Little Nell...the restaurant visits here for the last couple of years had left my wife and I stating that the meal was "ok" and very expensive....This time we found the meal to be exceptional---still very expensive. Please order the Octopus. It was absolutely the very best preparation I have... More

Description
It's been called Aspen's "finest spot to wine, dine and unwind." The name element 47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine -for breakfast, lunch, apres and dinner, 7 days a week. Our team of culinary and wine professionals is one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5-Star, 5-Diamond ranking for so long. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you'll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You'll find the ambience - ceiling-height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Cameron Martin, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Jose Lerma - as fine as the dining.
