Meadow Mountain Cafe has been in the mountain community since the 1920's; four owners later, it hasn't changed a bit. A wonderful log cabin with potbellied stove, the cafe has been owned and operated by the St.John (three generations in Allenspark) for15 or so years now. The food is excellent, whether you're after a hearty breakfast with homemade wheat toast and/or... More

We were just driving around and came across this cafe. We were hungry so we decided to try it out! It was quite busy for being out in the middle of no wear. So what's the best thing to get when trying a new place ? A hamburger! I got sweet potato fries and my husband got onion rings. Both... More

We might have been the only out-of-towners there. The menu was lunch and breakfast. On a Sunday afternoon, people were ordering both. We shared a picnic table with another party which seemed to fit the casual and fun-loving vibe. Because it is small, and seemed to only have one server, it was a bit of a wait for our food.... More

GRERAT CINNAMON ROLLS. Family run Cafe is simple, and satisfies the hunger Portions are good size - Not sure what we were expecting.... and the café has a little funk...not the urban clever concept of a coffee house, but is instead an authentic family run down to earth café. Recommend the chili. Cool lil cafe in the Rocky Mountains.

My husband and I were checking out of our cabin in Estes Park when the owner asked us which direction we were headed. When she found out we were headed to travel Highway 7, she told us to try this place.."They have the BEST toast"...we couldn't figure out what was so special about 'toast', so we decided to check it... This is a small and busy cafe that offers lots of excellent food choices and friendly service. It is located in a small mall, and has outside seating at times. So glad we decided to stop.

We like this place so much it is a must for any guests or just the two of us to enjoy breakfast during our Estes Park stay. The first visit was three and we had visited before the second visit was five of us and all had visited in previous years. Great breakfasts and a must is the toast! Enjoy

Always dependable and deliciously fresh food. So nice to not have to drive to Estes Park for a good meal. Breakfast was superb with eggs, bacon and pancakes to die for. They close on Tuesday and Wednesday so keep that in mind for future reference.

Quite a crowd on a weekday lunchtime, but everyone was friendly. We shared a table with two others and enjoyed the visiting. Food was very good: homemade salmon burger for me, pancakes and eggs for my husband.

Made a special trip to have lunch driving from Colo Springs. Arrived at noon and they was closed. Not much activity in the entire town. Call first before you go there to see if they are open.
