Surprisingly and unexpectedly fantastic dinner with family. Six of us enjoyed a fabulous meal with great service don't miss the opportunity to have the gator bites also their cheesy garlic bread is great. The one list is great with local choices we actually enjoyed two bottles. Great choice for family everybody was very pleased with their dinner. Chef Eric and... More

This past Christmas Eve my wife and I decided to eat dinner out before attending a 7:00 o’clock service at a local church. Living nearby, we reserved a table at Dingus McGee's. We requested a 5:00 pm seating but were told that the earliest seating was 5:30. No big deal, except that, to our surprise, when we arrived at 5:20,... More

Bob, Yes we did start serving at 3:30 since it was Christmas Eve. (normally 4) however, as you were informed when you called, the earliest available reservation by the time you called was 5:30. Sorry for any confusion. As for the rest of your story, sorry but it was nothing like the way you portrayed it. We all remember very... More

The weather here in Auburn has been very stormy so we decided to go out for a birthday celebration. It was my daughter's 35th birthday and she had never been to this restaurant. We started off the dinner with an appetizer of stuffed portabella mushroom which was filled with artichoke heart, tomato, fresh mozzarella with basil pesto then baked to... More

If you must park far away, drop your guests at the front door and the person in the golf cart will follow you and pick you up. The restaurant is located at the top of a hill so the walk can be a bit challenging for some. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant fills up fast. The Short Ribs, Scampi,... More

I cannot believe that my wife and I had never been to this fantastic restaurant. Our service was fantastic, our meals were awesome, the prices were reasonable, and the outside views were so nice. We will definitely be back.

Now I normally avoid buffets. Food's cold, generally visibly unappealing, you have to balance plates, etc. We were stuck with no place to go on Thanksgiving so booked the Dingus buffet. It was great! They created a nice, softly lit spot for the buffet, it wasn't crowded with plates, was kept HOT and the food was wonderful. Plus we had... More

My husband and I love coming here for special dates. The atmosphere is unique and fun, the food is never disappointing, and the service has always been good. We really enjoyed the buffet brunch on Mothers Day. Last time we went, we got the alligator appetizer and it was surprisingly tasty! Good spot if you're looking for a switch up... More

Nice menu with some unique appetizers. Food is wholesome and tasty, with ample portions. Service is always very good. Parking is not very convenient, so be sure wait for the shuttle cart.

I need to be gluten free so in discussing this with the waitress I asked her to confirm with the chef that the entire meal was GF. She came back and confirmed that it was and the lead hostess was with her. When the plate came it had deep fried polenta wedges so I asked her to go back and... More

Hi, Your entree was flagged for an allergy. As such the polenta was pan fried. This is why the chef said it was ok. The server did not communicate this properly to you. I did make sure to advise her on how to communicate this better in the future. I had thought she explained this while you were still here.... More

Three friends and I ate here recently. Steaks are their specialty. My friends enjoyed their steaks, but I was disappointed in mine. It was supposed to be the most seasoned (cajon) steak. I ordered it medium, but it came well-done. The seasoning was very bland and the Beans and Rice were very dry with hardly any seasoning at all. I... More
