Very good food. I had the chile colorado, not too spicy but good flavor. Daughter had the mango chicken bowl. Very good, spicy. Pineapple margarita, delish. This place has what looks to be 100 tequilas. Service was good at first but slow as it got busy. No problem, I know what its like when it gets busy, I don't mind... More

Food always very fresh, hot and served expeditiously. You can finish a meal in 30 mins but enjoy the atmosphere

Dined with approximately 14 people for a wedding shower. The restaurant staff was very accommodating. The food was very good as well as the margaritas. We spent quite a lot of time at this restaurant.and the staff was very attentive. We all ordered different entrees and everyone seemed pleased with their choices.

Great atmosphere. A little noisy at times, but part of the charm. Full bar with lots of choices. The food menu has a large variety of things to choose from. parking can be really tough on Friday and Saturdays. Service is decent. Prices reasonable, but can get up there.

I had the vegetable burrito (I have recently moved to a plant based diet) and my colleague had chicken chimi. The salsa was awesome, perfect blend of flavor and spice. The burrito was great and so were the chimi's. Unfortunately (in a good way) there was way too much and we both only ate half. Multi-cultural crowd, with families, singles,... More

La Penca is great!! It's open late, one of the only places around open late with fresh hot delicious food. Eat there or take it home - it's just as good at home!

We were looking for a place after 11pm and saw the crowd so stopped. The host said if we wanted to sit on the basically taqueria side we would not wait. Great choice. I look for two things in in 'real' mexican restaurant - locals eating there and some of the more obscure dishes - they were both there -... More
