We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Tucson to Tubac. We've seen it a million times, but never stopped so thought we'd try it. Not bad at all. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. It was very filling, couldn't eat it all. My husband had an Arizona reuben. It was very flavorful and filling...it came... More

Been going there for years but the last 2 or 3 stand out in memory the best. Never a bad meal to be had and plenty of it to enjoy.

Stopped in for Dinner on a Sunday Evening - light crowd but given the snowbirds have lite out for the North, a good turnout. First time in this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. Exterior is definitely in need of some TLC, but the bar area was warm and inviting and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Drinks arrived... More

Friendly staff. Basic food on menu. Service usually good unless really busy. Many regular return customers that staff remembers. Nice for a family dinner. Reasonable prices.

John Wayne used to hang out here in his heyday. The service has always been very good, and the food is very good also.

We were traveling from Mesa to Tucson and took an exit to visit the ghost town of Ruby on our way. At the intersection was the Cow Palace restaurant. Lucky for us we were hungry. I had a hamburger, fries and a cold one. The hamburger was hand packed and not too tight to make it juicy. The shoestring fries... More

Great basic food. I had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was the best diner meatloaf I ever had. Perfect texture and flavor. Potatoes were well flavored and creamy. Gravy was thick and smooth. Nothing fancy. They know what they do well and don't over reach. Will go again when I return to AZ.

Whenever we are in the Tucson, AZ area, we have to make a stop at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very casual and the prices are reasonable. We like their house margaritas as well as their homemade salsa and chips. I had the chicken burrito and my husband had a beef chimichanga. Both meals were delicious and generous. They don't... More

We winter in Green Valley and the Cow Palace is only about 15 minutes south. We eat here often. The owner is very involved and is usually there working her tail off. The decor has great ranching decor. Great steaks, good chicken & and really good breakfast on the weekends. For something different try the loaded potato salad for a... More
