This breakfast counter is perfect for a home cooked breakfast! I have tried multiple egg specialties, home fries, waffles, etc and they were all good. This place gets very crowded, so expect to wait. It's a little better in the warmer weather when they can seat outside, but in winter it's about 12-14 counter stools. Plenty of street parking in... More

We had a wonderful breaksfast dining outside. We got french toast, eggs benedict and the old favorite. Everything was very tasty. Service was excellent.

I was initially introduced to this diner in 1996 and it has been the same consistent experience with the food and service. They have recently added outdoor seating which was a pleasant surprise. The inside is an old style small diner which leave all the focus on the meals which are really good from breakfast and or lunch.

Really wonderful diner experience in DC - the closest to a real diner I have found, and believe me I've been searching! Great, homestyle, simple breakfasts that I've been craving. The service was great too, everyone was nice. There is not much seating inside, just a simple bar, so my wife and I sat out on the patio. They are... More

I really love Steak N Egg. It reminds me of diners back home and is open 24 hours so it is perfect for late meal after a night on the town. My biggest issue is that it is overpriced. A full meal ends up costing around $25, very pricey. And the outdoor seating only works in the summer. During the... More

I used to come here in the 70s when it was owned by an Asian man, he was the only person late at night. It was quite a treat to eat at one of his 10 stools. Now it has a much more ambitious menu. I had Eggs Benedict, poached medium, with asparagus. It was perfectly prepared and tasted great,... More

If you want a good breakfast outside of McDonalds while you're on Wisconsin Ave then this is the place for you. The staff was very pleasant and the food was really good. Don't be fooled by their small space. The pancakes surely makes up for it. If I'm ever in the area again i would not hesitate to go back🙂

Days Inn does not have a breakfast and so we googled to see what was close. Chose this and thoroughly enjoyed!! Sat at the counter and watched as the two chefs created all meals on a grill. It is a pleasant glimpse of the old style diners I remember from the 50s. This one had a picture of NYE 1930... More
