We were so excited to finally visit a nut-free bakery where my son could eat safely. He is 10 years old and has never been able to order anything from a bakery. He was ecstatic that he could choose anything in the case. He also...More

Right across the street from the National Zoo, this little shop has good coffee (basic - no cappuccino or latte), hot chocolate, and tea. Baked goods are excellent. Gelato also available.

We had bagels and cream cheese here for lunch after our morning zoo visit. The hot chocolate on a spoon is also delicious. Be aware that bagels sell out. We were there at 11:30 AM and got the last two bagels!

Stopped in for a snack after visiting the National Zoo. Delicious black and white cookies. Real homemade bagels. Delightful staff and a very upbeat atmosphere. Loved seeing the signs about Chanukah and knowing this great restaurant/bakery is kosher!
