We had never been to Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steaks and Stone Crab and we were in DC, so for my boyfriend’s birthday we went. Jeffrey was our server and he truly made the dinner a wonderful experience. He had excellent recommendations and we appreciate his...expertise. He steered us toward the oysters as a starter, and we split the stone crabs and a 16 oz. bone-in filet mignon, with baked potato and Brussel sprouts. For dessert we each ordered a half slice of pie, key lime pie and coconut cream pie, which were both indescribably good. An amazing evening and we look forward to returning!More

Everything about this place was great. From the moment we walked in the door until we left. Leslie was our server and gave us amazing service.

Our whole experience was great! Bianca was our waitress and she made great suggestions! The steak I had was one of the best I have had. It was cooked perfectly!! The vibe was great. Jenni overheard my son saying he was cold and brought him...a tablecloth to warp up in. (He is six) it was so sweet. We had an exceptional time.More

We went in expecting first class service and dining. What we got was average food and very poor service. I rarely write reviews although I was very disappointed in the service. We are visiting DC from. The San Francisco Bay area with wonderful dining and...less snobby establishments. The food was average and our server rude! I never received my oysters and was not friendly when we questioned the menu, I let him know I was from the west coast SF Area asked about fish and menu. He was barely agreeable. We had been touring all day and it was an early dinner but no need for him to be so snobby. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want a well served relaxing dinner experience. If you want uppity service and average food at high prices go!More

At the last minute all my family decided to go to Joe's Seafood, they was crowded with people waiting to be seated. We was almost turned away when my cousin Pam and the head person worked their magic to get all seven of us seated...together! That was just the beginning, service only got better. We will definitely be coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!More

Wife, son and I celebrated our 33rd Wedding Anniversary at Joe’s Seafood. Very nice atmosphere and ambiance. The food here is quite priceeeey ($$$$$) but enjoyable. Each food item is priced individually …….. so, choose wisely for your table. Several food options available along with...vegan choices. The space is maximized to accommodate a lot of people at one time. So, please be conscious of COVID and distance???? There exist street parking around the restaurant is you arrive early enough to find. Otherwise, valet is available for $20. Good luck!More

We had the large crab order and they were fantastic. The house sauce in a nice compliment. We all had the dover sole which was prepared table side and was delicious. The key like pie was excellent. Great filling and crust. And a generous portion.

Ordered carry out while I was in town. First time for Joe’s and it didn’t disappoint. Ordered salad, fried shrimp with fries and key lime pie for dessert. Order was ready within the timeframe given. If in town again, will try them.

There is no "appropriate woman's attire" nor is there "appropriate men's attire." Yes, thiis a five-store elegant restaurant but thank God we don't live in the pretentious 1970s or 1930s anymore. Those days are gone... More
