My 12 year old ordered the calamari. I'm so-so on calamari and this stuff was good. Again cooked just right, nice seasoning. I think... More

Been there about 4 times with a co-worker, while working in DC. The staff are super friendly and kind. It really feels that in the middle of serious, suit wearing Washington DC, this place gives you a strong feeling of a local pub, where you and the bartender joke every once in a while. There are plenty of different drought... More

Our waitress, BJ I think had all the tables and did a remarkable job being friendly, serving and handling the whole show. Oh did I mention... More

After passing three places that offered "healthy wraps" a Chipolte and two "upscale restaurants" I saw the words Post Pub on the side of the building. So glad I did, because I just wanted a good burger and cold beer. What I found was a perfect old-school bar with friendly people, a good beer selection and a great blue-cheese burger.... More

Too full to eat. So now we are in happy hour mode and not appetizer safar-ing. This is a great neighborhood bar. Reminds us of places we know home. The bar maid is helpful and informative and offered to charge our phones when she heard us lamenting if the low charge. My college son soon to be local was very... More

We visited the Post Pub on our 40th wedding anniversary trip to the U.S. Capital as it happened to be around the corner from where we were staying at the Loews Madison hotel. Ironically the pub was celebrating a 40th anniversary too! Kathy, the very friendly barmaid, made us feel so welcome we revisited a few times and enjoyed some... More
