So much to do. Shopping, food, beverages. Places to sit and rest. Very clean and comfortable to walk around.

The Union Station is a terrific and must see piece of architecture and a tribute to the restoration of the grand old archtecture of the early 20th century. Beautiful floor to ceiling with grand spaces and interesting rooms. The food court is similar to most suburban malls with only a few exceptions. Nothing exciting here to eat.

We've been to this fantastic building a number of times over the last 25 years and never tire of its grandiosity, beauty and convenience to the Capitol Building and the Library of Congress. Don't forget the Postal Museum steps away. Union Station has very nice shops to include the Appalachian Spring gift shop, a very cool place with an ALL... More

This is a huge place lots of places to eat and shop. However the rest rooms were disgusting I could even use them. I was constantly asked for money by homeless ( I feel awful for them) it was very crowded with traffic but not a whole lot you can do about that.

This national treasure, built in 1907 has just had a renovation and the results are quite outstanding. There is more renovation to be done, but with much of the previous scaffolding down, you can really see improvement in this building. there are quite a few eateries and a food court is on the lowest level. I stopped at the Verizon... More

It's funny how reviews here go on about how awful or great this place is based on saying the same things. The building is beautiful, and it's a train station, and there are the kinds of places to eat one would find in a mall, bakeries and burger places and such, some in the form of a food court. It... Sadly I had hoped there would be a showcase for local food there but it is all chain restaurants. The parking is convenient and the preserved interiors are beautiful.

This is a beautiful station with numerous places to eat and shop. If your train stops here, I recommend getting out and seeing a part of history.

A wondersize station that remains a traveller's delight- just a short visit is enough. SHops are not outstanding but the station itself is a marvel and just a short walk from Capital Hill so do both and enjoy!
