During our visit to Washington staying at The Phoenix Park Hotel we went next door to Kelly's Irish Times Pub.It was a lovely sunny evening the place was buzzing and we enjoyed a pleasant drink served to us on the patio.

Nice cold beers. Pub food is ok. I had french dip and it was fine, nothing special. Pass on the soups & salads and stick to the pub food. Loud/noisy

We were outside looking at the menu when a gentlemen walked over to us and told us about the great food at affordable prices. He was right! Family discussion on the grade. Mom and dad graded a 4 but kids wanted a 5. This was due to the kids pizza loaf that they both ordered and the liked very much.... More

We enjoyed drinks on the patio on a Saturday afternoon. The waitress was excellent - but clearly overworked as the sole server. I am not sure how good the food was as we saw diners leaving a lot of food on their plates. This is an enjoyable place for a drink on the patio - the inside was typically dark.

First impressions were great, a smiling bartender who knows how to pour a good pint of Guinness, friendly customers, especially the Donegal lady from Portnoo, If I return to DC I would call here again.

Not impressed with the fish & chips. My colleagues were very pleased with the Irish stew & Shepherds pie. Ellie, our server, was awesome! This is a small eatablishment, seating for larger groups is limited. This was actually our second choice, as the Dubliner had a 75 minute wait.

After a long day visiting the sights of Washington this is a great place to stop off at and have a great beer and a snack or just beer and enjoy the craic.

This place was awesome, kids were no problem, even though they were packed -- we got great service and a good meal. Highly recommend the fish and chips!

We always stop at Kelly's for lunch anytime we are in DC for business. The menu options are perfect for a quick bite, the beer options are great, and the best deal of all is the "It Takes Guts" special which is a 16oz PBR and a shot of whiskey for $6!!!

This is not the 'other' Irish pub next door clientele for sure, but that's what makes it better. A classic environment to come in for a beer and some food. Dinner staff seems much better than the lunch staff, more attentive and friendlier by far, but overall good place to stop into. Much more a local vibe versus a tourist... More
