We had three tour buses visiting DC for a class trip with teens and adults, Each bus went to a different Corner Bakery Cafe...we had approximately 38 people on each bus and it was just easier to break them up into different restaurants. Our bus went to this location. There was a set menu for everyone to choose from, if... More

The food is fresh and delicious, I cannot resist the BBLT the best bacon sandwich from any outlet ever, really crispy and non fatty bacon, fresh lettuce and large slices of tomato The chilli is great for warming up on a cool day and available by the cup and bowl, and the cinnamon creme cake and brownies are delicious. Their double deal for $8.99 is good - I had the chili and the mac and three cheeses. Completely okay in terms of taste. The mac and cheese did, however, taste like the m&c I made from a packet as a student. I lived on the stuff then, so won't claim that I'm suddenly better than that, but it is... More

Cool place to grab a bite! What I liked the most was that they have a menu with several dishes for you to choose. We went for the Berry Almond Swiss Oat and the Anaheim Scrambler... and both were fabulous.

Expectation was a walk in coffee and bread shop, like a Pret or Panera. Instead, they had multiple bakery options plus full breakfast menu. Good everything.

A standby for me is the soup (tortilla) and sandwich (tuna) combo. When the order was messed up a bit (only a slight error), the restaurant volunteered a free dessert. The chocolate cake was moist and delicious. All good for a misty day in DC.

My wife and I have been to DC several times and it never ceases to amaze me just how much this small cafe stands out. This place has great food and a super friendly staff- and DC prices don't apply here! I would love to single out one of the staff but they were all great this time with no... More

Called in twice for breakfast whilst visiting Washington DC. Both times greeted in a friendly manner and very chatty. Pancakes were so soft and light. Breakfast was well cooked and hot. Given breakfast tea with boiling water which makes s change and in a large cup. Recommend the breakfasts.
