I ordered takeout from Bua, and it was very good. I had the green curry and spring rolls. I would visit again.

This is a good value Thai place, especially if you don't want to spend a lot and want good Thai food. Service is very good, unless you want delivery. Delivery at this place is as slow as molasses and they often mess up your order.
First off, you need to visit this place for the cocktails. Yummy. And the food is very good, too. Came here with a friend who knew the menu better than I and everything he ordered was delicious. Seasoned well; spicy without being overpowering. Reasonably priced,...More
I had lunch with my colleague and a business partner. Angel Wings (to share) and Pad Thai (Chicken). Angel Wings are in a different shape from what I expected, good.

I've been eating at Bua since around 1998. Nearly ever time I visit DC, my husband and I end up there. The staff is attentive, and the food is tasty. I love the fresh tastiness of the pepper, basil, peanut, and coconut flavors of many...More

We were really very positive when we were told that dinner will be at our friend's favourite Thai restaurant near Embassy Row. There were nine of us and we all headed to Bua Thai. Initial impression was okay. The building and interior looks a bit...More
My last visit to Bua Thai was 15 years ago and I remembered it as much better. In retrospect this might be attributable to changes in me rather than Bua Thai :-) My recent dinner was served by a pleasant, attentive waiter and it was...More
