Our first visit here since Johnny's moved from N. Capital st. -- not disappointed. The drinks and fresh oysters were excellent and were the shrimp and grits appetizer and kale salad. The entrees -- scallops, rockfish and crab cake also were excellent. I will say...More

I've always had a warm welcome here, whether I arrive alone or with friends. The food is great, especially the fish.

This was a fun place to dine. Service was very good, attentive and very helpful. The crab cakes were excellent as was the grilled calamari. Not an extensive wine list but the choices were good choices. Terrific cocktail list. I would return.

We loved the feel and vibe: upbeat, energetic and definitely happy. Shared multiple starters including radishes, calamari and trotter tots ( a unique presentation of slow cooked pork- not for the cholesterol challenged !!) . Added spoon bread and sautéed green beans to mains. Fish...More

We decided to visit Johnny's as a treat on our last night in the DC area. Although we had a reservation for 8:30, it was completely packed and the rain made fewer tables available. As we continued to wait for a table well past our...More
