I had a very good eggplant stirfry but wanted to try their dumplings. Just watched the noodle guy at his station, idle, waiting for an order. Next time I'll give one. Probably the closest thing to old-school Chinese left in DC's Chinatown and just a few steps from the Verizon center. Not much atmosphere.

Ate at this very casual unassuming place in Chinatown. The food was actually very good. The hot and sour soup and veggie spring rolls were both good if not great. My wife had snow pea leaves and they were some of the best I have had. Really well done. I had sizzling black pepper steak and it was spiced just... More

Happy to be back in a city with a true Chinatown, even if it's now a very small one. The beef chow fun was excellent and we'd definitely return just for that. Unfortunately, we ordered scallops with garlic sauce, which was not to our liking. The scallops were extremely bland. Ironically, prior to delivering the scallop dish, they accidentally brought... Convenient and inexpensive. They offer takeout but I wasn't impressed with the food. The egg drop soup is like eating warm egg yolk. Forgettable but convenient.

I went in this restaurant few years ago and the quality was good as I found it the last time I went there, but The prices did increase a little bit too much for the place that you find. The place is simple and clean the food is good .Here you can find authentic cinese food. I've got a very good... More

If you like good No-Frills Chinese, this is a good spot. They have great roast pork - and my personal favorite: The Hong Kong Wonton Noodle soup. Fresh wontons, fresh roast pork. It's up there with the best of them. Now this is no date night spot - the interior is a bit dingy and old so I'd recommend this... More

If you are in DC and craving for Cantonese Chao Mien, you must come here. I had seafood Chao Mien in Cantonese style, it was delicious. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly. You will not be disappointed.

On the advice of my son, I took a granddaughter to dinner before a hockey game. Close your eyes: the place is clean, but certainly looks like it needs a major rehab. Then came the food: simple dishes looked far better than ordinary, and tasted superb. We ordered 2 chicken dishes: with cashews & with garlic sauce. The first was... More

Full Kee Restaurant is very dependable for nice authentic Chinese food- you can take out or eat in the 2 room restaurant located right in the heart of Chinatown on 6th & H Sts.-- only a block walk from the Gallery Place Metro stop. There is plenty of choices on the extensive menu and their prices are very reasonable. If... More
