I was four days in Washington and I had dinner in this restaurant twice, I wish I had found it earlier. I love Thai food.

This restaurant has some of the best Thai food we ever had BUT the second floor entrance was unusual and dirty. Would have given them 5 stars except for the entrance.

Had the Som Tum (Green Papaya Salad), this was extremely flavorful with a great presentation. The staff was very service minded and extremely friendly. My only criticism is that the dish could have been a bit more spicy. This spot is definitely worth a visit.

I got there right at 3pm, which is when their lunch menu ends, but they let me place my order for the drunken noodles with chicken anyways. It came with a spring roll and I thought it was great. It really hit the spot for what I was craving. It's not a fancy place or a place you'd bring a... More

Visited for dinner. Prices are reasonable, but the food is mediocre. It tastes fresh, but the dishes lacked flavor. One seemed particularly hot but didn't have anything else. Skip this one.

Sadly, many international restaurants in DC water down their cuisine to suit what they assume (or have experienced) the local palate to prefer. This is a good example. I ordered the spiciest soup on the menu and indicated I would like it Thai-style. What I got instead was an insipid, MSG-laden broth that was deeply disappointing. Had it not been... More

This restaurant has a large choice of dishes on the menu. I had the Tom Yum soup with shrimp, which was OK but not great. Same with the duck curry. I could see how these are Thai dishes but somehow they didn't get all the ingredients and the spices completely right. I wouldn't call it Westernised but it wasn't authentic... More

I ordered Nam Tok and it was the blandest Thai dish I have ever eaten. I've dined at hundreds of Thai restaurants/stalls/shacks/kitchens in both Thailand and abroad so that is saying something. No khao khua, no mint and very, very little chilli. A decent Nam Tok should knock your socks off. I was really disappointed.

This little hidden treasure has absolutely wonderful food. The service is quick, the atmosphere is cozy and the food is 100% authentic and delicious. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and my hubby had Red Curry chicken w jasmine rice. We were both very impressed with the flavor, freshness and quality of the food and the speed in which we... More
