Neighbourhood restaurant, albeit in quite a swanky neighbourhood! Remarkably varied menu with really something for everyone, including us annoying vegetarians. Pumpkin and black bean soup was really good, followed by olive pappardelle puttanesca. Lots of beers on tap, quite strong for the British pallette but a couple of nice 4.5-5% IPAs mean we'll let them off! Recommended.

I attended a 90th birthday party. The service was good. The meal was excellent especially the pumpkin-black bean soup.

I've eaten at Chef Geoff's many times, it has consistently good food and service. The place is situated in a residential 'food desert' near American University, so there isn't much choice in the immediate area. Not a destination restaurant, but still a consistently good experience.

Very nice place to hang out after work, or to a more formal dinner. Close to glover park, a nice choice for not going to downtown or Georgetown. CG Burger is a must

Although it was a busy Sunday night, the service was prompt and attentive. The pizza was very good. Excellent crust. The calamari appetizer was done nicely. Pretty good wine by the glass list that matched foods well. Our sever was very helpful with menu items, even with a table of six.

This is just another supposed trendy/cute place where one might think you are getting something special. It is no different from so many others in the DC neighborhoods. The tables are too close and there is no sound absorbing materials. The typical noisy bar runs along the interior adding to the melee. They place an annoying paper cover on the table... More

I'll preface this with the fact that the family went out to Thanksgiving dinner here - the staff was willing to work on that most important day of the year. However, there were several issue that are worth noting for reference that seem to be repeated over the several times coming to this place -- First, the waiter was inattentive... More

I love the food here. It's so simple yet so delicious, and made with fresh quality ingredients. I used to frequent at Lia's in Chevy Chase - which is another one of Chef Geoff's restaurants. The service is always consistent. Very friendly, down to earth, efficient, yet relaxed. I absolutely devour the pizzas - any of them! also the cheeseburgers... More

Had dinner here with our boys who go to nearby American University. Crowded on a Saturday night but we sat at a bar table after a short wait. Fig and prosciutto flat bread was mouthwatering. Delicious pizza, lamb burger and scallops. Nice selection of beers on tap. Our waiter was polite and prompt. Food came quickly. We will definitely be... More
