Great atmosphere, food and people watching. The carpaccio was incredible, burrata eggplant parmesan we loved and the pizza was great as well. There was a wait so plan ahead; we went to a nearby bar while we waited for our table on the patio. I would definitely come back and Reccomended Cafe Milano.

Took some friends there the other day for lunch. The service was good, bread outstanding and lunch tasty and filling. I had the FUSILLI GUCCI - House-Made Carrot Fusilli, Slow Roasted Veal, Onion, Mushrooms, ‘Genovese Style’ 23. Having worked out hard that morning, I was very hungry, so when a smaller bowl arrived, I wondered if it would fill me... More

I wish I could write a stunning review about this year's Christmas Dinner at Cafe Milano. We did the feast of the seven fishes two years ago and it was perfect in every way. This year not so much. The place was jam packed and we were told to wait even tho we made the reservation weeks before. No seats... More

I like the noisy, crowded, alive ambiance. The Italian food is very well prepared. The bar is always full. Very nice spot for outdoor dining. Although crowded service is efficient. The right place to be with friends or for business.

Really enjoyed this Italian restaurant. It's a must do in DC. I personally recommend the veal and spinach ravioli, that is if you survive eating the you-can't-have-enough house bread! When in town I'll come back again!

The food was ok but not very large portions. Asked for some vegetables because I was still hungry. They never showed up. Asked where they were and waiter said kitchen is backed up...not great excuse for such an expensive meal

My family had dinner at Cafe Milano during our stay in DC based on the recommendation of our hotel Concierge. The food was typical Italian fare. Well prepared, but not inspiring. The service was attentive (the "bread" guy was clairvoyant, he had a new piece of bread on your plate as you put the last bit of the prior piece... More

The service and staff moving around non stop destroyed what might have been a pleasant meal and experience. Please, please, management figure out another way to run the dining room. No need to have your staff moving non stop. I will think twice about returning to Cafe Milano.

The food is consistently excellent. Their service is very prompt and friendly. It is a great place for a casual afternoon lunch with friends or a nice evening out.

Great food, good ambiance & service. You should try various varieties of soups especially artichokes soup with cream bread. We had Branzino Intero (fish) with red wine 👌

Guests savor genuine Southern Coastal Italian cuisine in a setting reminiscent of a stylish Milan boutique. Framed designer scarves adorn the walls in a creative and colorful homage to Italian fashion. The ceiling gives way to coves of hand-painted murals celebrating Italian culture, including the stunning portrait of famed opera singer, Placido Domingo, in the room named in his honor. During warm-weather months, the front wall of floor-to-ceiling windows open onto an outdoor sidewalk patio, adding a touch of Northern Italy to the Georgetown streetscape, creating one of the most sought after dining spots in Washington. Since owner Franco Nuschese blazed onto the DC dining scene over twenty years ago, Cafe Milano has been a power center for diplomats, politicians, journalists, broadcasters, lobbyists, entertainers, and all who enjoy fine Italian food and gracious attentive service.
